At the restaurant, after the al, Jas Black saw that Jane Sampson liked the yogurt from this place and packed a portion of fruit yogurt to go. As they were leaving, he carried the delicately packed box in one hand, and held Jane’s hand in the other, now that she had put her mask and hat back on.
Once they were in the car, Jas didn’t delay and headed straight for the highway upon leaving the city district.
Jane sat in the passenger seat, having already removed her mask at so point, shielding the sunlight with a pair of large sunglasses while playing a standalone ga on her mobile phone.
If it hadn’t been for WhatsAPP popping up with a new ssage notification, Jane might have continued playing until she fell asleep and dropped the phone.
It was Mair Williams who had sent her the ssage, the two of them had exchanged WhatsAPP accounts along with Hibiscus Wood after leaving the guard team.
Little Jane, could you get the mobile number or WhatsAPP account of the black-face instructor from the guard team? —— Mair Williams
Jane raised her eyebrows and glanced at Jas.
Jas certainly had the black-face instructor’s mobile number and such.
After thinking for a mont, Jane first responded to Mair.
What do you want with the black-face instructor? —— Jane Sampson.
The chat box constantly showed the other party was typing, but it took Jane a full five minutes to receive Mair’s reply, I like him and I want to chase him. —— Mair Williams.
Jane stared at these eight characters for a long ti before she could digest them.
Mair had a crush on the black-face instructor?
Was she serious?
She wasn’t just joking with her?
Before Jane could analyze the result, Mair sent her another new ssage.
Little Jane, will you help or not, yes or no, give a straight answer. —— Mair Williams.
Jane stole another glance at Jas, then her fingers swiftly typed out a response.
Hold on. —— Jane Sampson.
After sending the reply, Jane put the phone back into her pocket and turned to Jas with a serious face, "My phone is out of battery, can I borrow yours to play with for a while?"
"It’s in my pocket; help yourself." Jas casually agreed to such a small thing.
"Thank you!" Jane giggled and reached into his trouser pocket, taking out his phone, unlocked the screen in no ti, and opened WhatsAPP.
It was only after opening it that she rembered, Jas had only her as a friend on his WhatsAPP.
Jane switched to rummage through Jas’ phone book, flipped through it, and was astounded, because Jas’s phone had way too many contacts.
Jane shifted her position to avoid letting Jas see what she was doing with his phone, then casually began a conversation, "By the way, I wanted to ask you sothing. What was the na of that black-face instructor from the guard team, again?"
Jas didn’t answer right away but eyed Jane and asked, "Why do you want to know?"
"Just making conversation, suddenly thought of it and asked, I don’t even rember if you guys told his na. When we joined the guard team, I don’t know who started it, but everyone just called him black-face instructor in private. He must know we call him that." Jane’s explanation was completely earnest.
At that mont, she couldn’t really rember whether Jas had ever told her the na of the black-face instructor. He might have, but she didn’t rember it, because the na ’black-face instructor’ was just too morable, it was almost brainwashing.
