"From the mont Old Master Black ntioned your nas to Jas Black on the phone, the Great General was eagerly watching from the patio window, finally, he had been waiting for your return." Brooke Black stood in the doorway, smiling at the two of them, "The als are almost ready, hurry in to wash your hands and start eating."
"Okay!" Jane Sampson responded, then gestured for the Great General to get down from her and led him into the house with her.
So, by the ti Jas Black parked the car and got out, his wife had already disappeared with the Great General.
When Jas Black entered, he heard Brooke Black chatting with Jane Sampson about his vacation this ti.
"Old Sir thought soone was playing a trick on him when he heard Jas Black was taking a long vacation voluntarily. Did I hear Peter Gingery right, Jas Black accompanied you to visit a patient today?" Aunt Black was pouring Jane Sampson a glass of juice and was about to give it to her when Jas Black suddenly ca over, touched the cup, and directly said, "No drinking."
Jane Sampson withdrew her hand that was already reaching to take the glass and pouted, "I’ll go to the kitchen for so boiling water."
Old Master Black was in the kitchen at that mont; when he saw Jane coming in for so water, he turned his head and said, "Didn’t your aunt just take so juice out?"
"Jas Black won’t let drink it." Jane Sampson stuck out her tongue and then obediently poured so warm boiled water, wanting to find sothing to complain to the Old Sir about, when she was startled to see Jas Black standing in the kitchen doorway, making her neck shrink back in surprise.
"Indeed, it’s generally not good for girls to drink too much cold stuff." On this point, Old Master Black was quite in agreent.
After pouring the water, Jane Sampson followed Old Master Black out of the kitchen, and as she passed by Jas Black, she proactively touched her water cup against the back of his hand, whispering, "Feel it, it’s warm."
Jas Black grunted in acknowledgnt, raised his hand to rub Jane Sampson’s head, and then led her to the dining hall.
Peter Gingery had not co back, and Uncle Black had social commitnts in the evening, so there were only four people for dinner.
During the al, Old Master Black asked Jas Black what he planned to do with the several days of vacation, and both Old Master Black and Aunt Black were slightly surprised to hear Jas Black say he intended to accompany Jane Sampson to Smytheton.
Jas Black had no intention of explaining; he stretched out a hand to serve Jane Sampson a pair of chopsticks full of braised chicken wings and placed it in her bowl, then continued eating with an indifferent expression.
Old Master Black and Aunt Black were both quite shocked by Jas Black’s gesture of serving Jane Sampson chicken wings.
"Very good, very good," Old Master Black managed to regain his composure after half a day and said these two sentences; once he had finished speaking, his face was all smiles.
It was unclear whether he was praising Jas Black for learning to serve his wife vegetables, which was very good, or for learning to accompany his wife out, which was also good. Because it was an early dinner, it was not yet even seven o’clock after they finished, and this season the sky outdoors was just beginning to darken.
Jane Sampson and Jas Black weren’t in a rush to return. Jas Black was brewing tea for Old Master Black, and while the three of them were discussing a topic that didn’t interest Jane Sampson at all, she sat there playing with her mobile phone.
In Jane Sampson’s WhatsAPP contacts, Jas Black was in a separate group.
The group na was Bastard Black.
Jane Sampson exited WhatsAPP to look at QQ and when she inadvertently noticed the friend count in the Bastard Black group was 0, she was dumbfounded. Wasn’t it showing 1 on the way back this afternoon? How did it suddenly beco 0?
