Jane Sampson really knew how to find happiness in the smallest things, even a re rabbit could make her incredibly happy.
In the guest room, besides the sounds of amazent, there was the carnival-like laughter of Jane Sampson. Jas Black listened from the living room for a while before he went to the bedroom to take a bath.
Considering that he would be going out with Jane Sampson tomorrow, Jas Black looked at himself in the mirror after his bath and touched his chin, noticing that his beard had grown a bit, and he even took the ti to shave it.
After shaving, Jas Black also washed his clothes by hand. By the ti he finished tidying up, nearly forty minutes had passed.
To Jas Black’s lack of surprise, Jane Sampson was not in the bedroom; he walked straight out of the bedroom into the guest room.
However, to his astonishnt, the guest room was very quiet.
He stood there, not seeing Jane Sampson, but then he noticed her slippers next to the bed, and upon closer inspection, found that Jane Sampson, hugging tightly and snuggling with Mr. Rabbit in one arm and the rabbit bride in the other, had fallen asleep on the guest room bed.
Seeing her sleeping soundly, it seed she had been asleep for a while.
"Jane Sampson," Jas Black bent down and gently touched her face before calling out to her, "Let’s go back to the next room to sleep."
Jane Sampson had no reaction, not because she was pretending to sleep, but because she was truly asleep.
Jas Black then took Mr. Rabbit from her hand first, preparing to take the rabbit bride from her other hand when Jane Sampson woke up.
Groggily opening her eyes, she instinctively clung to her rabbit bride, murmuring in a soft and whiny voice, "Don’t take it!"
This showed just how much she adored her rabbit bride.
"Let’s go back to sleep in the master bedroom," Jas Black said softly.
Only then did Jane Sampson respond with a hum, slowly sitting up with the rabbit bride in her arms, shifting her behind, and preparing to move out of the bed.
"Where are you taking that rabbit?" Jas Black asked, holding the veil of the rabbit bride.
Jane Sampson rubbed her eyes and replied, "To sleep."
"Did I ever tell you that I don’t want these two rabbits to appear in the master bedroom?" Jas Black said, pulling the rabbit bride away from Jane Sampson’s embrace. Seeing her sowhat unhappy look, he added, "Do you intend to take his wife away on their very first day of marriage?"
Jane Sampson paused for two seconds, then suddenly burst out laughing, teasingly said, "Jas Black, you’re so childish!"
After teasing Jas Black, Jane Sampson stood up, lifted the quilt and gently placed the rabbit bride Jas Black was holding into it, next to Mr. Rabbit, covered both rabbits with the quilt, and patted them gently on their bodies, muttering, "Happy honeymoon."
Jas Black’s eyebrows twitched, and he let out a snort.
A woman who wishes two ugly rabbits a happy honeymoon—what right does she have to call him childish?
He, childish? Wasn’t all of it just to indulge her?
When Jane Sampson agreed to move back to the master bedroom, Jas Black kept a straight face the entire way, taking her hand to turn off the light and then entering the bedroom.
Jane Sampson must have been truly tired, for once back in the master bedroom and on the bed, she lay there, yawning continuously. When Jas Black turned off the light and lay down beside her, she shifted a bit closer to him, then wrapped her arm around his waist, and within monts, she had drifted back into a deep sleep.
The light in the room was dim, but it was enough for Jas Black to clearly see the face of the woman in his arms who had once again fallen asleep.
It was on such a quiet evening that Jas Black, looking down at the woman in his embrace, felt his heart soften bit by bit.
