Jas Black only felt his temples pounding.

It was either from being stifled

or from the anger Jane Sampson incited.

"Jane Sampson, turn your body back to ," Jas Black’s voice held a hint of grinding teeth.

Jane Sampson’s inner struggle lasted a few seconds, and then she turned back, pouting, "Then should I take off one more piece for you?"

Although they had been married for many years and had experienced the most intimate of acts.

Jane swore she had never actively taken off Jas Black’s pants.

Not even clothes!

"Mm." Jas Black acknowledged Jane Sampson’s comnt and held back, barely resisting the urge to rush her.

...

When Jane Sampson followed Jas Black out, her old face was so red it could compete with the lipstick he had given her.

Jas Black returned to the ward and sat on the sickbed, casting a glance at the woman trailing slowly behind him.

"Are you shy?" Jas Black suddenly asked.

Jane Sampson stood there as if struck by lightning, then instinctively shook her head.

"Shy? What am I shy about?" Jane stubbornly argued, then guiltily fanned herself and continued, "My face is red because it’s too hot, yeah, it’s too hot!"

"Tsk." Jas Black couldn’t be bothered to expose Jane Sampson’s lie.

At six in the morning, even the breeze blowing in from the window was refreshingly cool. The sun had not yet risen; where could the heat be coming from?

"It’s still early; lie back down and rest a bit more," Jas Black said, "The doctor ntioned that observing in the hospital for one night should suffice. If everything goes well, I can be discharged in the afternoon."

Jane Sampson slowly sat down on a chair nearby and then acknowledged with an "Oh."

"Since you like it here, let’s stay for a couple of more days. Once the bandage on my right hand is removed, we can go back to Capital Province," Jas Black said. After not receiving a response from Jane, he frowned and queried, "Or do you want to go straight back to Capital Province?"

"Let’s wait until your right hand bandage is removed," Jane Sampson quickly replied, her main concern being that Jas Black might feel uncomfortable on an airplane if they went back to Capital Province imdiately.

Since she didn’t have any work scheduled for the next two days, she could afford to take a few days off to take care of Jas Black.

After all, being with Jas Black made no difference whether they were in Capital Province or here.

"However..." Jane Sampson suddenly looked up, scooted her chair closer to Jas Black, and looked up at him with a sycophantic smile, "Hehe, may I borrow your phone for a mont?"

"My phone?" Jas Black gestured to the drawer, "The nurse said my phone is inside the drawer. If you need it, help yourself."

After speaking, Jas Black suddenly asked, "Is your phone out of battery? Didn’t bring a charger? Do you need to borrow a charger from the nurse?"

Jane Sampson’s gaze drifted, and it took her a few seconds to acknowledge with an "Oh."

Then she stood up, pulled open the drawer and, seeing Jas Black’s phone indeed there, she imdiately brightened up.

After taking out the phone, Jane Sampson moved her chair further away and even turned her back to Jas Black before typing in the password to unlock his WhatsApp.

After doing all this, Jane Sampson quickly turned to look back at Jas Black, who sat on the bed’s edge. Seeing that he was just watching her with no intention of coming over, she swiftly turned away and tapped on her own WhatsApp.

Jane Sampson found herself among Jas Black’s WhatsApp friends and, without doing anything else, she imdiately went to the transfer function. After entering the transfer amount, she bit her lip, then tried the password.
