Seeing his gaze fall on her palm, Jane Sampson then spoke, "I fried a fried egg, also made a cold cucumber salad, and stir-fried a dish of green vegetables. Aren’t I diligent?"
Jas Black did not imdiately answer Jane, but quietly stared at her face for a few seconds before slowly humming a response.
Rock Bell and Jane had no intention of being polite, they got up early on an empty stomach to catch a flight, and by this ti, they were already starving. When Jane went to call Jas, she had already taken a bowl and chopsticks and sat down beside the dining table.
When Jas and Jane ca over, she had already started on appetizers, then turned her head to look in Jas and Jane’s direction, only to see, at a glance, Jane holding Jas and then grinning foolishly in a bid for praise.
As a person who had been married for many years, then a divorcee, and recently forced back into marriage, Rock Bell couldn’t help but get goosebumps from the mushiness displayed by these two.
Tis sure change fast. The Jane who used to avoid showing her face to Jas at all costs, who would stay silent if she could, was now incredibly intimate with him.
As an outsider, Rock Bell could feel that Jane and Jas’s interactions were much closer and more natural than before.
After the two sat down, watching Jane feeding Jas, the two sharing one set of tableware, taking turns with bites, Rock Bell started to feel a toothache from the cheesiness.

"By the way, I brought two roles for you to choose from this ti," Rock Bell spoke while eating, "Roles for you to audition for, and also an advertisent shoot. It’s for the biggest food corporation’s new beverage launch this year. There are to be three spokespersons in total, two females and one male. The other female spokesperson is not known yet, but the male is said to be Matthew Chip."
"Two shows?" Jane Sampson had little interest in advertisents but was more curious about the shows, "What scripts?"
"One is a spy war film, similar in the to the one you did with Director Wilson last ti. The director of this drama is keen on you for the female lead, asking you to audition. As long as there are no issues with you, you will be cast as the female lead. To put it more frankly, if you accept, the female lead in this drama is practically guaranteed for you."
Rock Bell had confidence in Jane’s acting skills, so the audition was just a formality for Jane. As long as she did not perform unusually poorly, judging by her acting in the last show, the female lead role was hers to lose.
"There’s another one, an ancient palace drama, female supporting role, a villain role that is ruthless from start to finish. I’ve looked at the script, and I can say, this female supporting role is probably the smartest character in the script. However, the end for such a villain role naturally won’t be good," Rock Bell said. "This drama is this year’s hottest and most anticipated adaptation of an IP major drama. The entire team is youthful, and the director has high requirents for the actors. The ruthlessness of this female supporting role isn’t just superficial; it requires solid acting skills, so the requirents for the actor are quite high. If the audition doesn’t go well, the director won’t choose you."
Having said that, Rock Bell placed her chopsticks on the table. "However, you’re in luck. The audition tis for both dramas are nicely staggered. The palace drama’s audition is scheduled about one week earlier than the spy drama, so I suggest you audition for the palace drama first."
