Hearing Jane Sampson’s words, Jas Black’s eyebrows twitched slightly.
He had been waiting for her to say just that.
Jas said, "For , the most practical thing is a watch."
Jane Sampson patted her head and let out a long "Oh," right! She could give him a gentleman’s watch; how had that option not occurred to her?
"A watch, that’s doable," Jane snapped her fingers, "then I’ll get you that."
Indeed, for Jas Black, the most practical was also a watch; it was the only thing he would wear on his person.
"BDFL recently launched a new Blue Count series of watches; you just give one from this series, any one will do," Jas suggested.
"Oh, okay," Jane nodded her head.
Since she hadn’t paid much attention to watches and knew even less about n’s watches, Jane stood there curiously and took out her mobile phone to enter BDFL’s national official website.
She typed "Blue Count" into the search bar and waited a few seconds for the page to transition.
Jane first roughly browsed through the pictures, then praised Jas, "Good taste, every model in this series looks pretty good."
Jas didn’t reply, but he stood there with a gentle smile on his face.
His gaze never left Jane Sampson’s face, intent on capturing every second, every expression.
Jane’s fingers swiped twice across the mobile phone screen, looking through all the pictures of the Blue Count series watches, before returning to the very top, curiously checking the price.
She muttered to herself that this series of watches looked high-end, so they should not be cheap.
However, when she saw the price of the classic model at the very front, she counted digit by digit with wide eyes, "Unit, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, one hundred thousand, hundred..." Jane was so stunned that she didn’t react for a while.
She thought.
The longest journey she had taken in her life must have been Jas Black’s sches.
Grinding her teeth, she exited out of the page and slipped her mobile phone back into her pocket, sounding very annoyed, "We’re an old couple already, we’ve never celebrated this kind of ssy holiday before, and we won’t do it this year either! What’s there to celebrate!"
His ntal math abilities must be even better than a computer, right?
No wonder he had just asked her how much money she planned to donate and inquired about her inco.
He had seen her using the mobile phone calculator to figure out her inco, so, having deducted the 200,000 for her donation, was he even more vicious than last ti?
Last ti he left her two bucks!
This ti, was he planning to use up that very two bucks he left her last ti?
Damn! This ti, he was preparing to leave her just a few cents behind the decimal point!
The classic model of the Blue Count was the cheapest in the series, but, the cheapest, still, if she really bought it, she’d have only a few cents left in her bank account!
Damn it!
Anyway, he was just eyeing the money in her bank account! He didn’t want to leave her an extra buck!
"Jane Sampson, what’s the matter, can’t bear to part with it? Do you pity your money?" Jas Black laughed coldly, "I said I would prepare a gift for you, too."
"I don’t want your gift! And I won’t give you one either! What’s there to celebrate about this young folks’ holiday! Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day, we’re an old couple, how can we be lovers? This holiday is for lovers, not for husband and wife!" Jane retorted with her lips pouted.
