"You’re annoying!" Jane Sampson lay back down and switched to lying on her stomach, burying her face into the backrest, "Forget it, let’s just not do Valentine’s Day this year! Who cares about spending a lifeti with you going through these chaotic holidays anyway, who knows when I might just change..."
"Change what?" Jas Black cut off Jane Sampson’s words with a single sentence.
His voice was cold and stern, chilling Jane Sampson to the point that she couldn’t utter another half word.
Who knows when she might just change husbands.
That was sothing Jane Sampson simply didn’t have the guts to say out loud.
Though Jas Black’s hands were injured, like he said, one leg was still more than enough to deal with soone.
"Changed my mind." Jane Sampson pouted and forced herself to change what she was about to say, "Who knows, maybe one day I’ll have a different attitude? When I get old. I’ll surely be too impatient for such holidays."
"Jane Sampson, haven’t I told you before, when it cos to saying one thing but aning another, you must have reached the peak of perfection and purity." Jas Black pressed down on the corner of his mouth, "Decide for yourself whether to give a gift or not. Think it over properly, you still have ten days, you have lots of stuff to think about."
"Nonsense! Don’t things that need to be ordered require ti to wait?" Jane Sampson muttered under her breath.
"Jane Sampson, don’t let hear you use that kind of language again." Jas Black’s gaze turned icy, "Next ti, a 1000-word self-criticism. For every word of nonchalance, it will double!"
Jane Sampson imdiately closed her mouth, instantly cowed.
She rembered that 1000-word self-criticism all too well to this day.
A 1000-word self-criticism must be the most brutal punishnt in this world.
Jas Black stood up and went upstairs after seeing that Jane Sampson was silent; she listened to the sound of his footsteps until they faded away completely before sitting up swiftly. Her feet stomped continuously on the backrest.
"Annoying, so annoying! Really infuriating!" Jane Sampson cursed softly, "King Black! Bastard Black!"
After her tirade, she pouted and took out her mobile phone, scrolling through WhatsAPP Monts for a few minutes before uncontrollably reopening the web page of the official website she had previously closed.
Because she opened it directly from her browsing history, the page imdiately jumped to the Blue Count collection.
Her fingertip unintentionally tapped and opened the detail page for the classic style.
She browsed for a while, then exited back to the page for the collection, continuing to scroll.
Then she clicked on another styled from the sa collection.
Compared to the classic style, this one was more sophisticated, and all three hands had a luminous feature for the night.
Jane Sampson felt that, compared to the classic style, this one was more suitable for Jas Black.
The watch face was simple, not flashy, and the brand logo wasn’t too conspicuous, quite understated.
But the price...
It was a full 30,000 more expensive than the classic style.
Jane Sampson held her forehead in distress.
In fact, she had yet another incoming paynt she hadn’t ntioned to Jas Black; it was from the hot pot restaurant she had invested in with Nina Rice. Nina had told her just the other day that she would be giving her this month’s dividends in a few days, a total of over 30,000.
The hot pot restaurant had already opened, but Jane Sampson had been too busy recently, so she didn’t make it to the scene on the opening day.
Nina had been nearly invisible lately because she was overseeing the shop, making her busy all day long.
With the dividends from the shop, she could afford this watch.
