"..." Quincy Forest found herself at a loss for words to describe Jane Sampson, simply shook her head, and then said, "I ordered two fruit platters. We can play cards and have so fruits. It’s really unfortunate that you can’t go out these days, otherwise, we could go shopping or watch a movie, anything really."
"In another two days the dia here should mostly be gone, and they probably won’t expect to stay here for such a long ti," Jane Sampson said. "Let’s hang out in a couple of days."
"Just two hours, what’s there to plan? You have to go back at ten thirty in the morning and four thirty in the afternoon to cook for your Mr. Black. It’s Coco and I who have made plans," Quincy Forest complained about Jane Sampson.
Jane Sampson smiled, showing her small white teeth, didn’t argue, linked arms with Quincy Forest, called for Coco Edwards, and sat down next to the workbench. The group started to tidy up the things on the table, and the card table was thus freed up.
After sitting down, Jane Sampson casually placed her mobile phone within reach, picked up a hand of cards, and won two rounds as the landlord, effectively suppressing the farrs.
"Jane Sampson, how co you have a bomb again? We’ve only played two rounds, and both the big joker and small joker keep running over to you?" Quincy Forest said enviously while reminding Jane Sampson, "Your phone just lit up a bit, it looks like there was so notification."
"It must be a new WhatsAPP ssage," Coco Edwards chid in.
Jane Sampson threw out her last pair and won the hand. While waiting for Quincy Forest and Coco Edwards to shuffle, she picked up her phone to check.
It was indeed a new WhatsAPP ssage notification, but unexpectedly, it was from Jas Black.
He had sent a voice ssage, which at this ti, was easier for him to do by holding down the speak button with a finger instead of typing out each letter.
Jane Sampson casually played the voice ssage, and Jas Black’s deep voice ca through the phone.
It was a question.
Are you coming back now?
"Your Mr. Black is too..." Coco Edwards gasped in astonishnt, "It’s barely been one hour since I helped you co here, you know?"
"Ignore him, let’s just play our ga," Jane Sampson said putting her phone back in place without replying to Jas Black and reached for the cards.
To tell the truth, she hadn’t paid any attention to the few cards that had co into her hand.
Her mind was entirely on the ssage that Jas Black had just sent her.
That guy is really concerned about when she’s coming ho, huh?
Jane Sampson thought that if she didn’t reply to Jas Black, the guy wouldn’t send her any more ssages.
However, about fifteen minutes later, Coco Edwards again alerted her to new WhatsAPP ssages.
Jane Sampson reached out to check, and it was another voice ssage from Jas Black.
Are you coming back now?
It was just the sa as the last voice ssage, but with the addition of the word "now".
"This guy..." Jane Sampson couldn’t help but laugh out loud holding her phone.
"If I hadn’t heard Jas Black’s voice ssages to you with my own ears, I probably would never have associated such a clingy nature with Jas Black," Quincy Forest clicked her tongue thrice, "I’ve always felt he was very cold and generally indifferent."
"He usually is." Quincy Forest’s assumption was not wrong; in fact, Jas Black was typically quite indifferent.
Had it not been for her being angry with him last night, Jas Black certainly would not have asked her the sa question twice today.
Jane Sampson reminisced about her leaving the house and going down the stairs that morning, recalling Jas Black’s quick move to stand up and walk over to block her path, guessing that perhaps he thought she was planning to run away from ho.
