"Right, Jane," Old Master Black suddenly rembered sothing and asked Jane Sampson, "About the charity dinner the day after tomorrow evening, your aunt saw your na on the guest list and she wants to know if you’d like to go with her?"
"No need, Grandpa, I’ve already agreed to go with Mr. Carter; he will be my date," Jane Sampson said with a smile, shaking her head. This was sothing Jas Carter and she had arranged a couple of days before her return.
So, at the company, Jane Sampson didn’t ask for help in arranging an artist to accompany her, knowing that Jane would be going with Jas Carter, the company was more than pleased, as this way, Jas Carter could boost Jane’s popularity again.
Although they couldn’t promote a couple of personas, Jane Sampson having a good relationship with Jas Carter was definitely beneficial for her personally.
Jas Carter had extensive social connections within the circle, which could definitely bring more opportunities to Jane Sampson than ordinary people could.
Upon hearing this, Jas Black’s eyebrows raised slightly. Again with Jas Carter? Why hadn’t she ntioned this to him?
When Bright Sampson heard that Jane Sampson was going with Jas Carter, he felt happy for her and said, "I didn’t expect Jas Carter to be such a nice guy. I was worried that you didn’t attend the premiere and that Jas Carter would be angry with you."
"Mr. Carter isn’t soone who is so petty. The day after the premiere, Mr. Carter and Brother Young both personally visited Jas Black at ho and even stayed for a al before leaving. Both of them are really nice," Jane Sampson explained cheerfully, then patted the Great General’s head and said, "Co on, I’ll get you so candy."
After saying this, Jane Sampson whispered sothing into the Great General’s ear. The dog woofed in response and then let go of Jane, heading upstairs.
A minute later, both girl and dog were sitting in front of the patio window, sharing lollipop fragnts and a bag of potato chips in perfect harmony.
Had she been holding back from bribing the Great General with food for nearly half a month, finally giving in to the craving?
Jas Black was adding tea for Bright Sampson, his eyes still carried a trace of amusent.
After having dinner at the Black Residence, Bright Sampson cajoled Grandpa Sampton and Granny Sampton into going back, while Jas Black and Jane Sampson were driven ho by the Black Residence’s driver.
Once they were at ho and the main gate closed, Jas Black asked Jane Sampson, "Why didn’t you ntion to about going to the charity dinner with Jas Carter?"
"Mr. Carter ntioned it to on WhatsApp, didn’t I tell you?" Jane Sampson genuinely thought about it for a mont, then replied, "I must have forgotten to tell you."
This lightly stated forgetting directly caused Jas Black’s expression to sour.
"After the charity dinner is Valentine’s Day, have you thought it through?" Jas Black suddenly asked, "There are only three days and two nights left for you to think and prepare."
Jane Sampson, who had already changed into slippers and walked in, laughed and headed towards the bedroom, boasting proudly as she went, "You said, apart from the day I return after a month, as long as I co back one more ti, you’ll give a gift, so I don’t need a holiday gift then."
Having said that, Jane Sampson changed direction and turned into the guest room.
When Jas Black followed her into the room, Jane Sampson was cuddling Mr. Rabbit. He walked over with a cold face, snatched Mr. Rabbit from Jane’s arms, and then pulled her into the bedroom with his arm around her shoulders.
After shutting the door, he said seriously, "If there’s no Valentine’s Day gift, then there will be no gifts at all, including the one you just ntioned."
"Then I don’t want any," Jane Sampson shrugged nonchalantly and then proceeded to the bathroom with her change of clothes, completely ignoring Jas Black’s stern face as if it were invisible.
When she ca out of the bath, Jas Black was still standing there staring at her. She blatantly rolled around on the bed in front of him and provocatively waved her little hand at Jas, "Go take your bath. No matter how much you look at , it won’t help."
