Jane Sampson grew more and more excited as she spoke, recounting how she had spent her afternoon.
At first, when she woke up in the bed and looked at the sowhat unfamiliar yet familiar room, Jane hadn’t co back to her senses.
Once she rembered she had co to the guard team to find Jas Black, she got down from the bed, stayed in Jas Black’s dormitory for a while, and then went out to play.
Halfway there, she t Peter Gingery and was then taken by him to the shooting range. Once she finally stopped missing her targets, Jane lost interest in shooting, walked to the basketball court, saw a group of people playing there, and joined in.
One could say, Jane Sampson, equally famous as Jas Black in the guard team, received cheers from a horde of fanboys wherever she went within the team.
So, that afternoon, Jane didn’t feel bored at all; rather, she felt that ti was passing especially quickly.
Listening to the woman chattering non-stop by his side, Jas understood why Jane hadn’t answered her mobile phone. In such a bustling place, and not even holding her phone, it was impossible for her to hear it ring.
After returning to the dormitory, Jas finally let go of Jane Sampson’s hand, walked in, stared at Jane while drinking water, and after finishing his drink, he then spoke, "Get ready, we can leave."
"This soon?" Jane stood there, dumbfounded.
"What, still thinking about your ice cream?" Jas said, "Don’t even think about it."
"It’s not that," Jane shook her head, "They said they’re making dumplings in the dining hall tonight, and I said I’d join them!"
After saying this, Jane quickly ran up to Jas, pulling a sulky face, "I’ll stay with you tonight at the guard team instead of going out, okay?"
In the past, Jas always tried to keep Jane here, but now that Jane rarely took the initiative to stay, Jas didn’t seem very happy about it.
"Today is Valentine’s Day; who wants to spend it with those dumbfounded guys?" Jas said with dissatisfaction, "Hurry up and pack your stuff, and let’s go."
"I don’t want to leave," Jane simply lay down on the sofa and refused to move, "I’ll stay here tonight with you. That way, you won’t have to rush to the guard team early in the morning tomorrow. My audition isn’t that early; I can sleep until I awake naturally, then drive ho by myself and get ready."
Jas ignored Jane, picked up her purse from the sofa, walked over, and in a single swoop, hoisted the person lying there with his right hand, and carried the astounded Jane to the doorway.
"Are you going to put on your shoes by yourself, or do you want to bring them along? You won’t be driving; I’ll arrange soone to drive us out," Jas said.
"I’ll put them on myself! I’ll put them on myself!" Jane humd internally, already embarrassed to this extent; she couldn’t let him carry her out like that.
At that ti, people were coming and going in the dormitory.
Because her original plan had been forcefully overturned by Jas, Jane put on her shoes reluctantly, humming, "King Black."
With Jas Black’s height, looking down at Jane, he could see her deliberately sluggish, ti-wasting maneuvers.
His temple throbbed rapidly.
After a mont, he spoke, "After dinner, I’ll take you for ice cream."
