Suddenly, Grandpa Sampton’s voice ca from the doorway, each word laden with rebuke and scolding, "Julie Sampton, do you think just because you’re the biological daughter of the Sampton family, you can bully your foster sister like that? Do you think you’re a high and mighty princess that Jane Sampson is just a foster daughter for you to bully?"
Granny Sampton and Bright Sampton, supporting Grandpa Sampton, slowly entered from the doorway; the three of them had been standing there for a while and had heard almost the entire conversation in the living room.
"If it weren’t for Jane Sampson, the person living at soone else’s rcy would be our whole family, including you, Julie Sampton!" Grandpa Sampton’s finger trembled as he pointed and then said to Father Sampton, "Don’t think you’ve kept everything so well hidden, thinking you’ve covered up everything, that your mom and I know nothing!"
Granny Sampton, with tearful eyes, gently shook her head, "Your dad and I know everything, but we always thought it was not easy for you to maintain the whole family, it was unavoidable, thinking that to keep the family harmonious, we could only wrong Jane a bit, but Jane is not there for you to bully at will."
"You as a father, where do you get the face to speak to Jane about kindness?" Grandpa Sampton yelled exhaustively, "In the past, you wanted to swap Jane Sampson for your biological daughter Julie Sampton to marry Jas Black, but Old Master Black disapproved and rejected the marriage proposal directly, insisting specifically on Jane Sampson entering the Black family as Jas Black’s wife. In fact, both your mom and I know it’s all you demanded from Old Master Black using Jane’s marriage as leverage!"
This was also why Grandpa Sampton and Granny Sampton had mostly stayed in the countryside in recent years and seldom visited the Black family.
