They had originally agreed to go out for dinner together, but in the end, Jane Sampson ended up cooking a simple al in the kitchen. By the ti the al was served, it was already the hour for late-night snacks in other households.
After Jane brought the flowers ho, she placed them in water right in the center of the living room coffee table. After dinner, she even carried the vase into the bedroom and put it on her bedhead cabinet on her side of the bed.

Jas Black just watched her busy running up and down with the vase, then squatting in front of the bedhead for quite a while, taking many photos of the flowers with her mobile phone. At this ti, Jane’s face was lit up with a smile as though she had just won five million.

Seeing Jane so focused on the flowers he had given her, while the big living man who gave the flowers was sitting right next to her without attracting a single glance—Jas Black thought about it and muttered to himself that maybe next ti he shouldn’t give her flowers.
With flowers around, her eyes seed unable to see anything else.
"Jane Sampson, it’s ti to rest, don’t you have work tomorrow?" Jas Black tapped his finger on his bedside cabinet, producing a knock-knock sound and gently reminding Jane, who didn’t even seem tired squatting there.
"I’m coming," Jane replied, but she got up slowly and then looked at Jas Black with a glance. She chuckled, stood straight, brushed off her hands, and sighed softly, reluctantly pulling back the quilt to get into bed.
"Will you give flowers for the next holiday too?" Jane asked Jas Black in a soft voice after sitting down next to him.
"Next holiday?" Jas Black chuckled, "Double Ninth Festival, you want them?"
Jane’s little face crumpled, and she quickly shook her head, then suddenly stood up, stepped over Jas’s body to switch to his right side, and pushed him towards where she had just been, murmuring, "Tonight, I still want to sleep on your right."
Having said that, once Jas made enough space for her to lie down, Jane quickly lifted the quilt and lay down, then reached out and wrapped her arms around Jas’s waist, rubbed her face against the back of his hand, and humd, "You said you would buy ice cream this evening, but alas, plans changed. Can this ice cream be postponed to this weekend?"
Jane wasn’t bothered anymore about missing dinner; it was the long-anticipated ice cream that she cared about.
If she didn’t take advantage of the hot weather to eat more now, it wouldn’t be long before the weather cooled down, and Jas would be even less likely to let her touch ice cream and the like.
Jas Black, sotis, is really good.
But other tis, not good at all.
When he’s being overbearing, Jane sotis can’t help but miss those years when he didn’t ddle in her affairs; occasionally, she found it quite comfortable.
"Mm," Jas didn’t quarrel with Jane tonight, seeing that she hadn’t had a particularly happy evening, so he nodded and agreed.
Probably because she had spent the afternoon frolicking around at the guard team base, by now she was tired. Hearing Jas’s affirmative hum, Jane chuckled, raised her head for a light kiss on his lips, then wrapped her arms around his waist and closed her eyes.
