Jas Black was well aware of his aunt’s character, as it wasn’t the first day he had known about it, so he wasn’t at all offended by Aunt Black’s teasing.
He chuckled and directly addressed the reason for his call, "I rember that the Black Family has shares in Swan Goose Films, right?"
"Yes, that’s right, quite a few," Aunt Black replied, slightly surprised. "It’s raining blessings; Chief Black is actually starting to care about family affairs, which is quite heartening.
Reassured by Aunt Black’s comnt about not just a few shares, Jas continued, "Jas Chip currently has a drama auditions in process, and if I rember correctly, Swan Goose Films is also one of the investors."
"Yes, and it’s the largest investor," Aunt Black nodded. "You seem to know quite a bit about this?
After finishing her sentence, Aunt Black felt it was almost miraculous, "Since when have you beco so interested in these things?"
These were minor investnts for the Black Family’s company; if it hadn’t been for looking at the financial reports in the past two days, Aunt Black would have had no idea about these minor details.
"Jane had her audition with the film crew today, but soone stopped her outside the audition hall. The daughter of the chairman of the Francis Group, Amber Edwards, is targeting her. Auntie, please have soone greet the person in charge of the film crew and let Jane continue her audition this afternoon as usual."
"Who? Amber Edwards?" Aunt Black was initially baffled by the na, but after listening to Jas’s subsequent words, she agreed imdiately.
Letting Jane continue the audition was rely a matter of one sentence for her.
Aunt Black was curious, "Didn’t you say initially that you wouldn’t help your wife out? How co now that your wife is facing a problem, you imdiately can’t sit still?"
"Not helping her is one thing; however, no one else is entitled to bully the wife of Jas Black. And, I haven’t really helped her; after all, this is also the cause. I’ve said that I won’t help her, but I won’t stop her either," Jas explained.
Aunt Black agreed, "Alright, I’ll make a call right now."
After hanging up the phone, Aunt Black turned to her husband and muttered, "This Amber Edwards just arrived in Capital Province recently, right? The young people nowadays are so daring; she’s just arrived in Capital Province and already started bullying mbers of the Black Family?"
"What happened?" Father Gingery was also protective of his own. How could his family be bullied?
"I’m not entirely sure of the specifics yet, I’ll make a call to find out," Aunt Black waved her hand, then made a phone call to her assistant.
In just five minutes, Aunt Black had figured out the ins and outs of the situation. After hanging up the phone, she imdiately called the executive director at Swan Goose, instructing the person to personally call Jas Chip.
However, when the other party inquired about the relationship between Jane Sampson and Aunt Black, Aunt Black didn’t reveal a single extra word.
After making the call, Aunt Black walked over to her husband, displeased, and slapped the table, "Brooke has grown up so well, and yet I have never seen such a brazen young person. She’s just arrived in Capital Province and doesn’t know to restrain herself; she sees soone and thinks she’s back in her small town, where she can bully anyone as she likes?"
Having said that, Aunt Black then relayed the situation she had just learned to her husband. Upon hearing it, Father Gingery’s eyebrows furrowed, "They’ve started robbing things right off our Black Family mbers? The audacity of youth!"
After a pause, Father Gingery added, "This is purely a lack of discipline."
"Even if we don’t take action to discipline her, you see if Jas will," Aunt Black shrugged.
