After speaking with Rock Bell, he glanced at the girl by Rock Bell’s side and said, "Is this Sister Tin’s person? She’s here to try out for the role of Evelyn Woods, right?"
Having said that, King hurriedly called for the makeup artist to co and do Jane Sampson’s makeup and style, while also telling Rock Bell, "Sister Tin, this newcor looks fantastic, with both good looks and a great aura."
"Of course, you didn’t think she’s my pick for nothing," Rock Bell said cheerfully, patting King on the shoulder. "Alright, you don’t need to stick around with here. Go attend to your business, and once we’re ready, I’ll bring her over myself."
It was only after she sat down in front of the makeup mirror that Jane Sampson finally felt a surge of nervousness. This audition was truly important for her, marking the start of her journey as well as the beginning of what she had been longing for in her heart.
Sitting to the side, Rock Bell, who had seen nurous talents, caught on to Jane Sampson’s mood instantly. She chuckled and teased, "You seed so calm on the way here; I thought you were cool under pressure and wouldn’t be nervous. Who would’ve guessed you’d start feeling it now of all tis?"
"Sister Tin, it’s my first ti, can you bla for being nervous?" Jane Sampson muttered as she rubbed the back of her hand. "I’m super nervous!"
"There’s nothing to be nervous about. If not the role of Evelyn Woods, there’s another role waiting. Either way, we’ll make sure you get a chance to be seen," Rock Bell stopped teasing and said seriously. "Don’t put so much pressure on yourself. No one becos a star overnight; everyone has to learn, and among all in the training class, you received the most praise from the teacher. So have confidence in yourself."
The makeup process wasn’t complicated; after all, the purpose of the makeup was to help the actor feel more imrsed during the audition and to let the judges see at a glance whether the actor fit the image of a costu drama, and so on.
The clothing ca from costus left over from previous scripts, ready-made. The makeup artist, based on the character of Evelyn Woods, dressed Jane Sampson in a light pink ancient costu, which appeared not heavy but was actually several layers thick, topped with a tippet. Once changed, Jane Sampson instantly exuded an ethereal charm.
"You look very nice, let’s go." Rock Bell complinted Jane Sampson and led her out of the makeup room.
Those who hadn’t had their turn yet were closely watching the activities in the makeup room. Seeing Rock Bell bring Jane Sampson out in a new set of clothes, they all tensed up, realizing from her look that she wasn’t playing a maid or similar roles, so everyone secretly clenched their teeth, wondering which coveted role just got a new competitor.
Rock Bell was very confident in Jane Sampson’s looks. Sotis, for a woman, having a beautiful face is indeed very important. Jane’s features were versatile, fitting for both ancient and modern settings, with delicate features and a pair of lively, expressive eyes.
As soon as King saw the two, he led them in. He intended to have Rock Bell wait in the back, but Rock Bell waved her hand dismissively and said openly, "I won’t go, I don’t feel like seeing that face."
King was at a loss for words; only Rock Bell could talk about Daniel Taylor, the wizard-like director, like that in the entire world.
With Rock Bell choosing not to go in, King could only lead Jane Sampson in himself.
Inside was a big room, which seed to be originally used as a conference room. There was also a small stage at the front of the room, and several people were seated at the tables beneath it.
"Director Taylor, this is Jane Sampson, the girl Sister Tin brought here to audition for the role of Evelyn Woods," King said as he briskly walked up to a man wearing black-frad glasses at the front before he finally spoke.
