"Don’t deny it, just look at what you post on Monts, how many of them have nothing to do with him? — Mickey Mouse Eats No Rice."
Jane Sampson once again sneaked a glance toward Jas Black, unprepared for their gazes to et directly.
He was holding a book, not reading it, just staring at her; what did he want?
The next second, she heard Jas Black’s deep voice by her ear.
"If you want to look, do it openly; there’s no need to be sneaky," he said.
"Who is looking at you?" Jane retorted with a huff.
As expected, Jas Black scoffed at her response.
Alright, Jane Sampson admitted, Jas Black did seem particularly fond of gazing at her lately.
But still!
Why did Nina Rice use two completely opposite words to describe her and Jas Black?
Why was it that when Jas Black was quiet, she, Jane Sampson, was deed noisy? Was it just because she talked a little more, nagged a bit more? Why was that considered noisy?
And, how was it that Jas Black was considered steady and she was labeled unruly?
Where did all those years of reading for Nina Rice go? What kind of adjectives was she using!
She, Jane Sampson, where was she ever unruly!
What a load of nonsense!
Of course, the most important thing was...
You sneakily undermine ! Breaking off friendship! — Jas Black’s wife.
What Nina Rice was saying now completely contradicted what she had told her in the past.
[Crossing my arms and smirking for a while]— Mickey Mouse Eats No Rice.
After replying with that expression, Nina Rice put her mobile phone down only when she saw that Jane Sampson didn’t send any more ssages.
Facts speak louder than words, Nina Rice would bet that Jas Black must be so smitten with Jane Sampson right now, so enamored, otherwise, he wouldn’t insist on Jane coming ho every month no matter how busy she was.
If he didn’t like her, even if Jane Sampson didn’t return ho for three to five months, Jas Black might not even notice, and if he did, at most he would just ask what she went to do; as long as he confird she was safe, Jas Black definitely wouldn’t question further.
The sa situation, whether liking or not liking soone, those are completely different scenarios.
Seeing the picture that Nina Rice posted, Jane Sampson angrily bit her teeth and shoved her mobile phone under the pillow.
Poor choice of friends, what kind of friends did she make?
They were all setting her up!
She had even been wondering why Nina Rice recently hadn’t been asking her about the divorce, turned out Nina Rice had already firmly believed that she and Jas Black couldn’t get a divorce.
She, for her part, had been feeling guilty the whole ti, fearful that Nina Rice would suddenly ask her when she was planning to officially divorce Jas Black.
Jane Sampson took another stealthy glance at Jas Black.
And once again he caught her in the act.
Then she quietly thought to herself, with Jas Black’s recent behavior, she really didn’t have the heart to divorce him.
Jas Black had so many faults before.
But now, he seed perfect, everything about him was wonderful.
Of course, it would be even better if he were a little nicer.
"Don’t put your mobile phone under the pillow," Jas Black saw that Jane Sampson was getting ready to rest and reminded her, "At least put it in the drawer of the bedhead cabinet."
"Nagging!" Jane Sampson pettily threw the word that Nina Rice used to describe her back at Jas Black.
See? The real nag was King Black!
But Jane Sampson did as he said, settled her mobile phone, then pulled up the quilt, covering her chest. Jas Black next to her suddenly moved, flipping the quilt off her and pressing it down.
His shadow fell over her, casting a reflection on her face.
His kiss, warm, lightly touched down, lingered on her cheek for a mont before moving to her lips.
