This was the first ti in Jas Black’s life that he had been so addicted to soone.

Fortunately, that person was his wife, his woman.

Jane Sampson had been even busier than she had expected in the days following her departure from the guard team.

The new endorsent ad was not easy to shoot, not because she or her partner perford poorly, but because the person in charge had near-perfect, exacting demands.

Adding to the difficulty, they had several consecutive days of rain, and after checking the recent weather forecasts for Capital Province, the ad team decided to move the shooting location to another province, which cost them several more days.

Before Jane could even finish shooting this ad, the film crew notified her of the ti to join the set, which was scheduled just so, on the very day she finished filming. She returned to Capital Province after 11 p.m. that night and headed to Harvest Film Town early the next morning as dawn was breaking.

Jane was awakened by Coco Edwards when she got out of the car.

"Are we here already?" Jane rubbed her eyes as she got out of the car, her vision blurred.

"Yes, the film crew is over there, let’s head over. The crew has booked rooms for the staff at the hotel next door. I’ll go get our room cards in a mont," Coco said as she handed Jane a moisturizing spray she had taken from the refrigerator that morning. "Spray so of this to wake up and rehydrate your skin."

Jane took it and sprayed her face casually; the cold rosewater refreshed her significantly.

"Sister Jane," Mona Calm called out from the film crew, having spotted her from a distance. "I saw you over there just now."

Mona had arrived in Capital Province the day before and had stayed at the grand hotel arranged by the film crew.

"You’re early," Jane said, envying Mona’s apparent lack of sleepiness.

There was a start-up ceremony that morning, and after consulting an expert, the film crew had scheduled it very early. Since Jane’s accommodation was quite far from the film and TV town, she had to get up and leave hurriedly by car as soon as it was light.

As they joined the crew, Director Jas Chip saw Jane and greeted her proactively, "Your agent told you’ve been shooting an ad outside the region these past few days and only got back to Capital Province late last night. You look like you haven’t rested well. Today’s tasks aren’t heavy. After you finish the evening shoot, go back to the hotel early to rest."

"Thank you, Director," Jane quickly thanked him, knowing that if any temperantal director saw an actor looking like her early in the morning on the first day of shooting, they would likely be scolded.

So Jane was truly grateful to Director Jas Chip. Not only did he refrain from scolding her, but he also offered her these comforting words.

At this ti, busy to the point of being all over the place, Director Chip left to attend to other matters after assigning her, the female supporting role specifically requested by a major investor.

Hibiscus Wood approached shortly thereafter, tapped Jane on the shoulder from behind, and greeted her, "Good morning."

Unlike Jane, who had washed her face quickly to get a couple more minutes of sleep and applied her skincare products in the car, Hibiscus had ticulously done her makeup.

Because the start-up ceremony would draw many mbers of the dia and reporters, Hibiscus had woken up an hour and a half early to do her makeup.
