"I think you’re not wrong," Coco Edwards felt the sa way. Amber Edwards was soone with narrow-minded intentions, but sohow, she never knew how to conceal them. If she could just hide her little sches, Coco wouldn’t even find an opportunity to confront her.
"I’m truly honored that an idle heiress like you has suddenly found a life’s purpose because of ." Jane Sampson shook her head and sighed, then burst into laughter with Coco as they returned to the hotel.
The hotel was near the film and TV town; it was just a few minutes’ walk after leaving it.
The hotel wasn’t very big, but the entire place had been booked by the film crew. As soon as Jane entered, the hotel front desk personnel recognized her at a glance, and a group of little misses over there ca together with a burst of excitent, seeming very thrilled.
Jane, in a good mood, waved her hand and greeted them, "Hello there!"
"Wow, Jane Sampson greeted us! Oh my god, she’s so nice!" One of the little misses was excitedly shaking her colleague’s hand non-stop.
Coco dragged Jane all the way into the elevator, "Stop flirting with everyone you et, or I’ll have to tattle to your significant other."
"Tattle what?" Jane looked thoroughly confused. "I’ve been filming all day; I didn’t do anything wrong, did I?"
"Going around flirting with people isn’t wrong?" Coco said. "Throwing sultry glances at other won behind your man’s back is wrong."
Jane looked up to the sky.
What in the world?
Since there were enough rooms and Jas Chip knew Jane had a significant background, Jane and Coco each had their own room, and for Jane’s convenience, Coco’s room was arranged right next to hers.
The first thing Jane did when she got back to her room was to take a shower, and only after coming out refreshed did she go to the room next door to find Coco, so they could discuss what to have for dinner.
Both seasoned hobodies and not bothered to go out—especially since this was Capital Province where Jane grew up and she had visited the film and TV town many tis—she had no intention of going out for a walk.
They discussed it for a bit and decided on takeaway.
While waiting for the takeaway, Jane finally had ti to pick up her mobile phone and glance at it, bursting into laughter when she saw the text ssage Jas Black had replied to in the afternoon.
Then, she imdiately called Jas Black.
At this ti, Jas Black should have been back at the dormitory.
The phone rang for quite a while before Jas Black answered it, so Jane asked, "Haven’t you reached the dormitory? Why are you answering only now?"
Jane had washed her hair and taken a bath; calculating the ti, Jas Black should have had his dinner and returned to the dormitory by now.
"I was just looking at a ssage," Jas Black said, "Then I had a few words with Peter Gingery."
Peter Gingery was right next to Jas, not there for any other reason but to eat ice pops.
His dormitory didn’t have a refrigerator, so he could only bring snacks over to Jas. Aside from potato chips and other easy-to-store items, he would only take so back to his dorm.
"What text ssage?" Jane asked with curiosity. "I thought you hated texting. Who’s sending you ssages?"
"From the tone of it, it seems like it’s from the number I blocked the other day," Jas said. "This ti they’ve switched to another number and just sent another text ssage."
"What’s it about? Read it aloud for ," Jane assud and egged him on, "Certainly, it must be so little demon you’ve enticed."
