Jane Sampson finally sat up and, without any formality with Mair Williams, peeked into the bag, "Mangosteen, nice, nice, this suits right now."
The two of them started eating, one each for Coco Edwards and Mona Calm.
"By the way, have you been in contact with Liam Woody lately?" Jane Sampson ntioned Liam Woody and rembered she still had an issue to settle with Mair Williams.
"Stop eating, co here with , I have so old scores that we definitely need to settle." Jane Sampson dusted off her hands, grabbed her dress, and pulled Mair Williams into a deserted corner.
"What score? I don’t owe you money." Mair Williams cheekily replied.
"You owe half a life!" Jane Sampson fiercely said, "That’s even worse than owing money! I gave you Liam Woody’s WhatsAPP account, and you turned around and stabbed in the back! You told Liam Woody I was eyeing the guard team’s bodies so intensely I’d even blink more often."
"Wasn’t that what you told yourself that day? I just relayed it." Mair Williams shrugged her shoulders, "What’s wrong? Did Liam Woody tattle on you?"
"..." So, that day, did she indeed end up shooting herself in the foot?
Seeing Jane Sampson silent, Mair Williams hurriedly spoke up, "I had a al with Liam Woody recently. He still said we weren’t a good match, but I insisted. I demanded he prove our incompatibility before I would give up on pursuing him."
"And then?" Jane Sampson’s curiosity was piqued, "Did Liam Woody take the bait? Did he agree to give it a try?"
"Pfft! He blocked as soon as he got back!" Mair Williams lanted while pounding her chest, "But I shalessly added him back, and he couldn’t do anything about ."
"I have to send him a dozen WhatsAPP ssages a day to annoy him, now he’s quite speechless, but, there’s progress, at least he replies once every two or three days." Mair Williams chuckled, "I’m sotis too masochistic. The more he ignores , the more I like him. If he hadn’t rejected from the start, maybe I would have found it boring after a while."
"But he’s different, successfully caught the president’s attention!" Mair Williams concluded, and holding Jane Sampson, burst into laughter, "This weekend he’s coming to the city, and I insisted he go with for a barbecue! Skewers, you know, are the best way to build a relationship."
"Who told you that?" Jane Sampson didn’t agree at all.
"The internet said so." Mair Williams felt this thod was very effective; grabbing so skewers, sipping so wine, hearts open up, sentints are shared, and the distance between two people narrows.
With a bit of alcohol in their system, it would be even better if they could quietly hold hands.
"Alright, alright, as long as you’re happy." Jane Sampson patted Mair Williams’s shoulder, "The revolution hasn’t succeeded yet, comrade needs to keep it up, go for it."
"Thank you for the leader’s attention and trust, I shall not fail my mission." Mair Williams was busy too; after chatting with Jane Sampson on the film set for about half an hour, she had to leave—she had an event in the evening and needed to go change her clothes.
Jane Sampson didn’t accompany Mair Williams out of the film set because she was wearing her costus and couldn’t go far; she bid farewell at the doorway and then staggered back to her spot with her heavy head.
