After sorting out things with Amber Edwards, Jas Chip still ntally tagged her as a villain.
Jane Sampson had just finished browsing Twitter and hadn’t yet decided how to respond when Jas Black’s call ca in first.
"Are you being ostracized in the film crew?" Jas Black’s voice carried a hint of anger, "Led by Amber Edwards?"
"Ostracized? What are you talking about?" Jane Sampson quickly explained, "That’s not happening at all! You must have seen the information on Twitter, right? It’s just content taken out of context. I’m in the film crew, and I’m doing great."
"Are you sure you’re not lying this ti?" Jas Black was used to Jane Sampson lying without batting an eye and saying one thing while aning another, so he really wasn’t quite convinced about the credibility of her words.
"Am I the type of person who loves to lie?" Jane Sampson asked indignantly in response.
Jas Black didn’t hesitate, "You are."
"..." How was she supposed to respond to that?
This conversation was going nowhere today!
"If you don’t believe , you can call Coco Edwards to ask. If you still don’t believe , you can have Sister Tin co over here tomorrow," Jane Sampson said, "I an, who could resist , being as cute and charming as I am?"
"Amber Edwards." Jas Black responded curtly.
"If you keep this up, I’m hanging up!" Jane Sampson was literally grinding her teeth in frustration.
"Here’s the thing, in the film crew, it’s just Amber Edwards and her two assistants who ignore . But the thing is, I don’t interact with those three, and more importantly, I wouldn’t bother dealing with them either," Jane Sampson said smugly, "I’m not that easy to bully. Just yesterday, I flipped a table and fought soone! I’ll handle the Twitter stuff myself, so don’t worry about it."
Jas Black thought it over and spoke, "Put Coco Edwards on the phone."
Jane Sampson took a deep breath and then handed the mobile phone to Coco Edwards, "The overlord commands you to take the call."
Coco Edwards burst out laughing. The expression on Jane Sampson’s face when she was making the call to her father was truly instructive and spectacular.
While Coco Edwards was on the phone with Jas Black, Jane Sampson rested her chin on her hands and watched Coco. After Coco hung up and handed the phone back to Jane Sampson, Jane sighed deeply, "When will I ever seem grown-up in the eyes of my father?"
Upon hearing this, Mona Calm exclaid, "Sister Jane, was that your dad calling you just now? Your dad really cares about you. You and your father have such a good relationship. The way you talk to your dad, it’s like talking to a friend. I really envy you for having such a dad."
Jane Sampson stood there speechless, unsure of what to say next.
Coco Edwards had a hard ti holding back her laughter.
Jane Sampson was actually complaining to her about how strictly Jas Black controlled her, but the unsuspecting Mona Calm had misunderstood.
"Sister Jane, how are you planning to reply on Twitter? Isn’t your agent preparing to handle it through Public Relations?" Mona Calm didn’t notice the odd expressions on their faces, so she asked about the Twitter issue.
"For such trivial matters, my agent really trusts my ability to clap back." Jane Sampson usually replied on Twitter herself before Rock Bell could even speak, so later on, such typical Twitter issues were left to Jane Sampson to handle on her own.
After all, her fans really bought into her carefree and genuine nature.
