Coco Edwards helped Jane Sampson open the car door, and as Jane was about to get in, a voice suddenly ca from behind.
"Jane Sampson, wait a minute," Amber Edwards called out, then stopped a few steps away from Jane.
"Miss Edwards, is there sothing you need?" Seeing Amber, Coco imdiately looked displeased, stepped in front of Jane, and asked not-so-friendly.
Amber stood in silence for a very long ti, and just when Coco was losing patience and ready to let Jane get in the car, Amber finally spoke.
"Jane Sampson, thank you." After saying that, Amber smiled, "Actually, that wasn’t so hard to say, was it?"
Even though Amber hesitated the whole night before saying it.
But after saying it, she truly felt that saying thank you really wasn’t that difficult.
"Also, about the previous matter, I’m sorry." Having started, the following words beca easier to say, "In fact, you are the strangest person I’ve ever t, and yes, you are indeed better than !"
Having said that, Amber held her head high and turned to walk away.
"Both apologizing and saying thanks, and throwing in so weird comnts before leaving—was she here to resolve the conflict or start a new one?" Coco muttered before urging Jane to hurry up and get in the car so they wouldn’t waste more ti.
Since Jane’s situation was special, if she had entered through the doorway, journalists would have undoubtedly blocked her, so the film and TV town had made a special arrangent for her. She drove straight in through an internal lane all the way to the door just outside the film set before getting out of the car.
"Little Jane is here." Jas Chip was particularly passionate towards Jane today, "Go get your makeup done quickly."
"The director seems to be in a good mood today," Jane greeted Jas Chip, "Is there a happy event?"
Jas Chip raised his eyebrows at Jane, "You know the drill."
He then approached Jane and said, "Amber just called to say her goodbyes. She said she is leaving and will not stay in Capital Province. She told to give the role back to the actor who was originally taken over by her."
Jane and Coco looked stunned, realizing she was not coming to the film set. No wonder they went to the hotel early in the morning to block her.
"She didn’t plan on withdrawing the funds at first, but your husband said yesterday that he would cover Amber’s investnt share, so I told her to take the funds she brought and leave, to avoid coming to the film crew to stir up trouble later," Jas Chip said, "This kind of high-maintenance miss is really too much for the film crew to handle."
However, what really put Jas Chip in a good mood was that Amber was leaving on her own initiative, without him having to ask her to go.
This way, Amber wasn’t losing face, and he didn’t have to offend another person.
"Don’t worry, I’ll remind him, and make sure he doesn’t forget," Jane replied, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
"It’s always effortless talking to the smart little Jane," Jas Chip said excitedly, patting Jane’s shoulder, "I actually didn’t an to rush you."
That last statent — even Jas Chip probably didn’t believe it himself and so he left laughing sheepishly.
Coco, who listened, was confused but guessed that Jas Chip and Jane coming downhill together yesterday might have run into Jas Black.
And, it seed that Jas Black and Jas Chip had reached so sort of understanding.
