After a mont of silence, Asher spoke, "I thought I didn’t have any chained weapons experience, so there is nothing to teach you," his voice a bit teasing, carrying a faint hint of amusent that subtly contrasted his present indifference.

Finch imdiately paused at such words; he coughed awkwardly as he spoke, "I didn’t an that, I didn’t just want to be beaten up by you, I simply didn’t know the training would be going in that direction," he explained, his tone slightly flustered as he attempted to clarify his earlier stance.

Asher shook his head with a smile on his face, his eyes turning to Lior, who was still in his bird form. "Why don’t you ask the Emovira to help you? As a Rank Five Emovira, I’m sure he possesses enough power and knowledge to help, even if only a little," he asked, his tone curious, though there was an underlying casualness in his suggestion.

Finch stayed silent, as he hadn’t even thought of that; he could have asked Lior to teach him anything, yet he hadn’t. But before Finch could speak, Lior spoke first.

"I can’t be bothered, kid. While we may be soul bound, it doesn’t an I suddenly want to train him until he becos a Crownstar Life Rank or whatever," Lior spoke, his body brightening up as he shape shifted from a bird form into a human form. He sat calmly on a couch as he crossed his legs. "Whatever Finch decides to do with his life has nothing to do with ; after all, it’s not like I have so desire to beco strong or anything like that myself," he replied without a change in expression, his tone completely detached.

Asher stayed silent for a mont as he t Lior’s gaze briefly, then simply nodded his head without a word, as though he couldn’t be bothered to argue or press the matter any further.

Finch stared at Lior, wondering if this was the sa guy who had been giving him so life advice a couple of minutes ago. Lior could sense Finch’s gaze, but he didn’t bother to acknowledge it. Yes, he had advised Finch, but whether Finch took the advice or not had nothing to do with him.

If Finch settled to be a noble, fine, he would bask in the platinum coins. If Finch settled to beco a well-known fighter and warrior, then fine, he would sit back and watch Finch try, his role remaining unchanged regardless of the path chosen.

"No problem then," Asher replied, his words directed at Finch. He had nothing to do, so why would he turn down a whopping five thousand points that ca knocking on his door, especially when it required minimal effort on his part.

"Thank you," Finch imdiately replied, as a huge smile appeared on his lips, as though he had struck a jackpot, his earlier disappointnt completely replaced with excitent.

Asher shook his head as he spoke, "No need to thank ; after all, you are paying for it," his tone calm and matter-of-fact, devoid of any unnecessary sentint.

Finch simply smiled and said nothing else, his expression reflecting satisfaction.

Asher stayed silent for a mont, then spoke, "But I won’t give you the sa lesson I gave William. I corrected what I thought was wrong in his form and basic weapon techniques, but I won’t do the sa with you." Asher paused as he t Finch’s gaze calmly. "I will have to train you from the beginning, reworking a few things. I won’t go into details until we start; at that ti, you will understand," Asher explained, his tone steady and deliberate.

Finch stayed silent for a mont, then nodded. He understood that he and William couldn’t receive the sa lesson, as they were fundantally different individuals. Besides, if Asher had spoken about a different type of training, then it was sothing that he, Finch, needed to fix as soon as possible so it wouldn’t co back to bite him later.

"When do you want to start?" Finch asked. Personally, he was ready to start as soon as possible; he could pay Asher now and even abandon the class he was supposed to prepare for if necessary.

Asher stayed silent for a mont, then spoke, "Hmm... we will start tomorrow, and it will last for about five hours minimum, or until you can’t move anymore," his tone contemplative, as though he had already begun structuring the training in his mind.

Although he could begin the training now, it was best to leave an activity to attend to tomorrow, as he had nothing else to do then, making it a convenient allocation of his ti.

"I understand, I will be here tomorrow then," Finch stated. Although he didn’t know how brutal the training Asher had talked about would be, he steeled himself, his thoughts and will hardening with resolve.

’If I don’t push myself to the brink now, then I will be left behind by Asher and William,’ he thought to himself, ready to endure whatever Asher threw at him, regardless of the difficulty.

"Should I transfer the points now?" Finch asked, as he had no problem paying imdiately if Asher wanted it, his tone sincere and straightforward.

Asher stayed silent for a mont, then shook his head as he spoke, "I will receive the points after the lesson tomorrow."

Of course, he could take it now, but it was simply best to leave it until tomorrow. As for the possibility of Finch receiving the lesson and not paying, Asher didn’t even consider it, as such a possibility didn’t even exist in his mind.

"Urgh... I was the one who ca up with the plan, but I’m too poor to even pay," William couldn’t help but comnt, his voice carrying a mixture of frustration and self-awareness.

At William’s words, Finch turned to him and replied in a mock arrogant Young Master tone, "In front of nobles, commoners and peasants like you should keep quiet and know your place," a playful smile appearing on his lips as he made fun of William for being broke at the mont.

"Tsk... seems like we have to go on our next mission earlier than scheduled," William stated as he clicked his tongue, as this wasn’t the first ti Finch was making fun of him for being broke, his irritation faintly evident.

"What’s wrong, suddenly being so angry? You make fun of for being fat, yet you can’t stand being made fun of for being broke," Finch replied, his smile not leaving his lips, his tone light yet teasingly sharp.

William remained silent; he knew he had to acquire points as soon as possible, or Finch would never let this go, the thought lingering in his mind.

After a mont, William spoke, "What you fail to understand, Finch, is that being broke is temporary; you being fat is eternal, so be ready to be made fun of, Fatty Wang, because I won’t hold back," he t Finch’s gaze as he spoke, his tone firm with a hint of competitive defiance.

"Sure, but don’t you think you should change your na from William Canestane to William Brokie? Fits you better, no?" Finch added, his tone mocking as he refused to stop. After all, this was the first ti he had gotten his hands on a topic he could use to make fun of William and he had no intention of letting the opportunity slip away.
