Although they stared at Asher with killing intent, they didn’t dare rush towards him; instead, they beca cautious. Asher stared at them for a mont, then broke eye contact as his eyes shifted towards his bracelet as he wanted to know if he had acquired enough points to unlock Astra energy, after all, he really needed it.

It wasn’t that he needed Astra energy to deal with these mobs; no, he needed it to clean himself. He was dirty, slly, and wet, and Asher was getting increasingly irritated by the filth that covered his body.

His points now stood at three thousand nine hundred and eighty points (3980), aning the Veil-class Monsters had netted him one hundred and twenty (120) points each. Asher could only sigh, he was just twenty points shy, but it seed reality was having a laugh at him at the mont.

As Asher was paying attention to his points, the remaining twenty-six Veil-class and five Mark-class Monsters imdiately acted together, their coordination flawless, speaking of experience and occasional cooperation.

This ti, their ability to manipulate mud was more profound as, instead of restricting him, Asher felt the mud shoot upwards from the ground in the form of spikes as they moved to tear him apart.

Asher imdiately shot backwards as he dodged with calm ease, but the mont he took a step back, another mud spike followed, their numbers increasing with each passing second as Asher’s body turned into a blur. He didn’t need to think too much to know it was the Mark-class Lizardfolks that were now manipulating the mud as the Veil-class Lizardfolks possessed the sa ability but on the weaker end.

Omni Perception tingled. Asher’s eyes snapped downwards, and from within the swamp water, a bunch of the Lizardfolks swam towards him, their jaws wide open as they moved to tear him apart. But not just that, their teeth dripped with venom, speaking of their poisonous innate ability.

Asher simply leaped into the air. The mont he did, over ten Lizardfolks snapped upwards from the swamp water like crocodiles, their teeth snapping shut as they missed.

Asher’s expression remained calm.

He wouldn’t lie, he had missed this, the movent, the attacks, the flow, everything. While he enjoyed the one-month training period and the Thalvorn Empire, at the end of the day, nothing could beat the feeling of fighting on the battlefield. The thrill of combat, the constant pressure, and the need to react in an instant were things no amount of training could truly replicate.

While midair, he drew his blade and imdiately slashed out with perfect motion. The next instant, the fifteen Lizardfolks that had torn upwards through the water were imdiately diced into nothing but blood, bones, and flesh, their dissected corpses slamming into the swamp water.

Asher landed, his feet sliding backwards under the slippery mud. His bracelet beeped again. He was already sure he could unlock his Astra energy now, but he decided to finish these mobs first.

Asher’s senses imdiately perked up as he saw what seed to be mist appear, surrounding him and obscuring his vision. While the tactic was good on the Lizardfolks’ end, it was still useless against soone of Asher’s calibre. Although he had many ways to escape the situation, Asher simply stood motionless. He was sure they would co to him, so there was no need to move forward. Asher’s ears twitched as he heard sothing cut through the air, but he couldn’t exactly see what it was due to the mist.

Although his eyes and visionary Omni Perception were blocked, it didn’t an Asher couldn’t rely on his other senses. Besides, Omni Perception didn’t just allow him to see things, it also enhanced other senses like hearing.

Asher moved backwards as he weaved between the mud bullets that were shot at him. But that was all part of the Lizardfolks’ plan as the mont Asher moved backwards, four Veil-class Lizardfolks were already in position waiting as the mud bullets led Asher towards them.

The four of them imdiately stabbed towards Asher with chilling synchronization. Asher could hear the sound of their spears cutting through the air, but he simply sighed. While it was indeed fun to be back on the battlefield and have a bit of fun, it was a sha these creatures were no fun, or rather, simply too weak to be fun.

Although he was in a pincer attack, the mud bullets coming from the front and the attacks coming from behind, Asher remained indifferent. Instead, he leaped into the air as he sorsaulted, his body moving into a backflip as he soared over the Lizardfolks’ attack, his body landing behind them with ease.

The mont he landed, the Lizardfolks had no choice but to imdiately block the mud bullets that had been sent against Asher initially.

Asher simply sheathed Virelass and decided to just handle them through sheer hand-to-hand combat.

One of the four Lizardfolks imdiately turned, its spear moving towards Asher again, but he simply sidestepped as he closed the distance, his fist clenching as he punched the Lizardfolk in the gut. The force sent the Lizardfolk into the air like a bullet, the body crashing into trees, but Asher wasn’t thinking about it anymore as he was sure the monster was dead. After all, how could a re Veil-class Monster survive a punch from him?

Another slashed at him from behind, but Asher simply dodged, his body moving as he faced the Lizardfolk. He caught the Lizardfolk by the jaw, raised it into the air, then slamd it into the murky water and land with imnse force. The jolt and pure force from the slam tore through the Lizardfolk’s scales, the impact tearing its organs apart as it died on the spot. Both water and mud imdiately tore backwards in waves.

Asher didn’t stop, he moved again, a grin appearing on his lips as he shifted into pure brutality. He imdiately clamped down on the dead Lizardfolk’s tail, then imdiately turned around with imnse force. Using the body of the dead Lizardfolk as a weapon, he swung it, slamming it into the body of the third one.

The sickening sound of flesh and bone being crushed from the force behind the swing was imnse. The third Lizardfolk imdiately shot sideways, its body slamming through trees before it ca to a stop, its body lying motionless. Needless to say, it was dead.

Asher imdiately discarded the Lizardfolk he was holding and closed in on the last Veil-class Monster. The Monster panicked as it tried to move backwards, but it was useless; Asher was simply too fast. He caught the Monster by the head with one hand, then imdiately clenched his fist, and with a gut-wrenching scene, the Monster’s head burst open, green blood splashing against Asher’s face with him barely reacting to it.

His ears imdiately caught more mud bullets and spikes tearing through the air. Asher didn’t even bother dodging; he simply used the corpse of the headless Lizardfolk like a shield, blocking the attacks with ease.

He threw the corpse to the side, then vanished from where he stood, closing the distance between him and the Mark-class Lizardfolks. They couldn’t even blink before Asher’s hand tore into the chest of one of them, pulling out its heart.

He vanished again, his movents no different from those of a madman as he caught the second by the shoulder with his left hand, then clamped down on the head with his right hand, and with sickening ease, Asher tore the Lizardfolk’s head off from its shoulder with macabre smoothness. The third Mark-class Monster moved, but Asher only sent out a kick, his heel connecting with the Monster’s throat before it exploded outwards.

The last two blurred backwards, but before they could create any aningful distance, Asher was upon them, his face covered in green blood, and with a single attack each, he wiped both of them out.

Asher stood in silence, his hands dripping in blood, his face covered in blood, the territory of the Lizardfolks covered in blood. Broken corpses floated through the murky swamp water while shattered scales and fragnts of bone littered the battlefield. The swamp of water now seed like a swamp of hell.

All that remained was the Grave-class Monster, and the last ti Asher had killed one earlier in his days, he had needed Star Form, but now, he wouldn’t even need Astra energy for such a task.
