Kushida Kikyo had been very irritated lately!

She had finally, with great difficulty, received her acceptance letter to Advanced Nurturing High School. She had wanted to bid farewell to the past and co to this place where no one knew her to start a new life anew.

What she had never, ever expected was that Horikita Suzune—who had gone to the sa school as her since middle school, whose entire way of doing things rubbed her the wrong way no matter how she looked at it, and who might possibly know about her dark past—had also co to this school.

And had even beco a classmate in the sa class as her!

Displeasure! Irritation! A headache!

All sorts of negative emotions surged endlessly into her heart.

Yet, Kushida Kikyo still had to greet Horikita Suzune every day with a smiling, friendly face. Otherwise, not only would the persona she had painstakingly constructed within the class crumble,

Horikita Suzune might also stop paying her any attention, thereby losing the chance to beco friends with her.

Yes. Even though she was displeased by Horikita Suzune's deadpan face, couldn't stand her self-righteous personality, and ridiculed that naivety of hers—not knowing the imnsity of heaven and earth, thinking she could achieve anything—Kushida Kikyo still wanted to beco friends with Horikita Suzune, so that she would open her heart, confide her troubles and displeasures in this good friend, and even everything else...

And then she herself could expose the ugly side of this person in front of everyone to her heart's content!

Yet no matter how hard she tried, this beautiful fantasy forever remained stuck at the very beginning.

"I have no desire to know you. Goodbye."

"Do not appear before . You annoy ."

"I don't need things like friends. I can accomplish everything on my own."

...

Ti and again, ti and again, she was rejected by that woman without the slightest rcy.

The herd of pigs in heat in her class, telling those stupid jokes with smug self-satisfaction, boasting about their laughable grades, and those lecherous gazes fixed on her chest during swimming class...

n, as expected, are all a bunch of trash!

Sakayanagi Arisu, what are you acting all cute for, winning the sympathy of those guys in class? That self-righteous personality of yours, I saw right through it from the very beginning. I just couldn't be bothered to expose you, that's all.

Karuizawa Kei, shalessly clinging to Hirata Yosuke, every day making a noisy fuss and ordering her around to do this and that, all under the glorified na of "helping a friend."

Koenji Rokusuke, what financial conglorate young master, holding that hand mirror and gazing into it all day long, making feel such humiliation on the bus that ti.

...

On the school road at dusk, the twilight deepened to red, then darkened, until it finally plunged entirely into darkness.

On the dimly lit school road, only Kushida Kikyo remained, walking silently...

Kushida Kikyo walked with a smile on her face. But as night fell, her originally bright and luminous eyes turned lusterless and silent. Finally, she stopped beside a secluded little patch of woods.

This was a remote, out-of-the-way path. Even during the day, very few people passed by here.

Kushida Kikyo looked around, forward and back, for a mont. After confirming that no one was on this path and that there were no caras nearby, she took a deep breath and slowly raised her leg, snowy white yet full of healthy flesh, and aid it at the railing beside her...

"Ah— So damn annoying!"

Bang—!

"Why did that kind of woman have to co to this school?! That bitch Horikita Suzune, who thinks she's all that just because she's good at studying, always walking around with that deadpan face—why was she placed in the sa class as !"

"Go die!"

Bang— Bang—!

"Why doesn't a person like that just hurry up and die already?!"

Bang—!

"Those pigs in the class! Don't you know how annoying it is that I have to hang a smiling face in front of you every single day?! If you had any sense, you'd just go die already!"

Bang—! Bang—! Bang—!

One kick after another...

Completely at odds with the gentle sweetness she usually displayed.

Kushida Kikyo continuously released her inner dissatisfaction upon the outside world. The iron railing let out groans of unbearable misery, the entire section of railing shaking and trembling from the force.

The empty school road echoed with Kushida Kikyo's venomous curses and the wailing of the railing...

"Go die! Go die! Go die!!"

"All of you, just go die for !!"

Creak— Crack—

Kushida Kikyo's rage reached its peak. She vented all the accumulated resentnt towards Horikita Suzune and the students of her class into this single kick. With a loud clang, the railing was completely bent, caving inward into a "C" shape.

Slowly exhaling a breath, Kushida Kikyo retracted her vicious expression and straightened her hair, disheveled from her outburst. She transford back into that Kushida Kikyo, the one with the sweet smile who wanted to be friends with the entire school.

"Hah, much better now. Ti to head back..."

Adjusting her small shoulder bag, Kushida Kikyo humd a cheerful tune and walked away from that desolate place with light, tapping steps.

All that was left was a single railing, twisted in midair, dying with a grievance unresolved.

"Hm~ Hm~"

"Hm hm~"

"Hm hm hm~"

...

Several minutes later, in that deeply secluded small woods where no one would ever have expected it, three small heads quietly peeked out from behind a pitch-black tree trunk.

Fuyuji Mikage: "Whoa... what a brutal scene that was..."

Morishita Ai: "That woman... is she a Jorougumo?"

Yamamura Miki: "Eh? Should I... should I be saying sothing?"

The three of them had never imagined that, instead of encountering a youkai while playing the spiriting away ga, they would run into a woman whose face changed even faster than a youkai's.

After confirming that Kushida Kikyo would not be coming back, the three, who had been cramd behind the tree trunk, instantly dispersed.

"Fuyuji Mikage, where were you putting your hand just now?! To actually touch Morishita-sama's thigh. Confess! Were you harboring ill intentions?!" Morishita Ai pointed at Fuyuji Mikage and imdiately fired off an accusation.

Fuyuji Mikage rubbed his own head. "You've got so nerve. My hair was almost yanked completely bald by you."

Yamamura Miki timidly bowed apologetically towards Morishita Ai. "Sorry, Morishita-san... I pinched your shoulder too hard just now..."

Of the three, Fuyuji Mikage, walking at the very front, had discovered the juicy scene first. His body subconsciously crouched down first. Morishita Ai, right behind him, grabbed onto Fuyuji Mikage's hair to steady her balance. Yamamura Miki, bringing up the rear, grabbed Morishita Ai's shoulder and silently peered on.

"But still," Fuyuji Mikage looked in the direction Kushida Kikyo had departed, subconsciously fumbling at his pocket and rubbing his chin, "I never expected that Kushida Kikyo had this side to her. I figured at most she was just a little 'tea'."

"Fuyuji Mikage, did you record it?" Morishita Ai asked abruptly.

"..."

Fuyuji Mikage raised his head and looked at the sky. The sky was pitch black. "Ah, what beautiful weather it is today..."

"I knew it!"

Morishita Ai saw right through Fuyuji Mikage's attempt to change the subject.

"I thought it was a bit strange earlier. Why was there a tiny bit of light down below? I thought you were going to let your perverted urges run wild and try to peek under Morishita-sama's skirt. I didn't expect your thoughts to be even more depraved!"

"Hey, hey, isn't that a bit much? I was just thinking of getting so leverage on her first. I figured maybe one day I could use this for a desperate, co-from-behind victory." Fuyuji Mikage felt his composure cracking and argued loudly.

"No need to explain. You were definitely thinking that since she has a nice figure and is pretty, you could use this video to threaten her, forcing her to do those perverted, lewd things you n all love, like making her strip naked, completely bare, and watching her humiliated expression." Morishita Ai raised both hands past her shoulders, her palms making a grabbing gesture, her small face tense as she spoke with great authority.

"Are you treating the school like so hentai ani theater? That's a criminal act. If I really did that, you'd only be able to visit in prison."

At this mont, Yamamura Miki, standing at the side, also mustered her courage and chid in: "Fuyuji-kun, that kind of behavior is wrong."

"So what do you want to do? We have such good leverage and you don't want to use it? Do you even want to graduate from Class A anymore?"

Morishita Ai revealed the smile of a successfully executed sche and extended her hand.

"Hand it over to Morishita-sama for safekeeping. I have no interest in threatening that woman. Co find when you want to use it."

"Well... that doesn't matter anyway."

Fuyuji Mikage thought for a mont and then nodded in agreent. He took out his phone and slid his finger across it.

"Absolutely no making backups." Morishita Ai leaned in close, staring at Fuyuji Mikage's phone screen.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll let you handle the operation, okay?" Fuyuji Mikage rolled his eyes, handed over the phone, and decided to just let things slide.

"That's more like it..."

...

After settling the matter, the three of them left the small woods and strolled along the school road.

"In the end, there really was no spiriting away, huh? As expected, everything in that book is fake!" Morishita Ai said indignantly.

"As if there would be... Morishita, let tell you, there are no supernatural phenona in this world. You have to believe in science..." The genuine psychic user spoke blatant lies with his eyes wide open.

"It's decided! Tomorrow, we'll change locations and try again." Morishita Ai was determined to be stubborn to the very end.

"Eh? No way. Doing that sort of thing once is more than enough. It's way too scary!" Yamamura Miki voiced her firm opposition.

"Speaking of which, what are we having for dinner tonight?"

"Ran! I'm going to try that spicy ran again!"

"You still think last ti wasn't miserable enough?"

"This ti, I'll split half with you. We can't waste food."

"I object! I absolutely don't want to eat that ran that looks like it would kill you."

"A show of hands... Two to one. Alright, the ran shop it is!"

"Nani?! Yamamura... even you..."

"The ran at that shop last ti was really delicious. I want to try it once more."

"Fuyuji Mikage, accept reality!"

"Damn it..."
