Returning to the Class A classroom, more than half of the students had already co back.

Seeing Fuyuji Mikage return, Hashimoto Masayoshi took out the bread and milk he had prepared and tossed them over to him.

"Fuyuji-san, catch!"

"Thanks."

Fuyuji Mikage caught his lunch and tore open the packaging. "What's the situation with the other classes?"

"Class B is the sa as always. That woman Ichinose is really terrifying. Even with the announcent of sothing as significant as the S System, she could quickly calm the students of her class down. Everything's as harmonious as can be, as if they haven't been affected at all."

I already witnessed that one firsthand just earlier. Fuyuji Mikage stabbed the straw into the milk carton.

"Class C, well..." Hashimoto Masayoshi shrugged. "Sa as always. They neither submit to Ryuen's rule nor have they elected a new leader. A complete ss. But at least they've stopped fighting openly."

"As for Class D..." Hashimoto Masayoshi paused for effect. "Just take a look at the forum and you'll see."

"That mysterious?"

Biting the straw, Fuyuji Mikage took out his phone and operated it single-handedly, logging into the campus forum.

[Latest Model Nin-Ten-Do Ga Console, Selling Cheap, Used by a Girl, 99% New!]

Fuyuji Mikage nearly spat out his mouthful of milk. "Cough, cough. What kind of prodigy is this? From Class D?"

"It seems like most of their class has already spent all their points. They naively believed they'd get another 100,000 points this month, and now they're scrambling in a panic to recoup so funds." Hashimoto Masayoshi's laugh carried a hint of schadenfreude.

"So, any next moves?"

"Let's hold off for now, especially regarding Class D. They have absolutely zero points right now. Who knows what kind of bizarre things those talents might do." The situation was too chaotic; it was best to observe a while longer.

"Fuyuji-kun, haven't you eaten yet?" Katsuragi Kohei ca over and asked with a frown.

"Ah." Fuyuji Mikage bit off a mouthful of bread and chewed vigorously. "Got held up by a few things."

He didn't ntion the fact that the school's midterm exams had answer sheets. Ultimately, whether it was this school or society at large, one ultimately had to speak with ability. Taking this opportunity to raise the class's academic level wasn't a bad idea either.

There was absolutely no thought like "Since I have to suffer here, you all should co suffer with " or anything like that, no sir.

"Is it about the midterm exam matter?"

"Mm... that's part of it..."

"Regarding that, I'm planning to hold a study group. Those with strong academic abilities will help with tutoring, focusing especially on students at risk of expulsion. Of course, if students who have energy to spare are willing to co, they can also join in the group study."

"Additionally, I plan to call on the students of our class to set aside a certain proportion of their monthly points as class funds, to be saved for a rainy day. For example, this month, that would be 40,000 Private Points. Next month, we'll adjust according to the Class Points, at most not exceeding half of the existing Class Points. Then, a portion of these points can be taken out as rewards for students who contribute to the class."

"For instance, for this tutoring, we can take so out as compensation for the students helping with tutoring. If soone makes an outstanding contribution in a special exam, besides what the school gives, they could also receive a reward from the class."

Katsuragi Kohei laid out his entire plan in one breath, holding nothing back.

"Katsuragi-san," Fuyuji Mikage pinched his chin, looking at Katsuragi Kohei with so surprise, "you really are a reliable guy."

This amounted to a simple tax system. Although the proportion was a bit high, since the points were issued by the school in the first place, filtering them through another layer at the class level also made sense. It could also use points to motivate the students in class.

The average level of Class A students was indeed a cut above students from other classes. There was just one problem—they were too individualistic!

Unlike Class C and Class D, which specialized in producing troublemakers, they were too quiet. When they ran into an issue, their first instinct was to weigh pros and cons. If there was a path of least resistance, they would decisively choose that one, do their own part well, and leave the rest to others.

Similarly, if there was a class proposal they disagreed with, even if they harbored dissatisfaction, as long as the majority of the class approved, they wouldn't explicitly voice opposition.

The thought process was likely: They've all agreed. What use is there in being the only one to object? Even if I bring it up, I might just end up mired in trouble. Better to not stir up this ss in the first place.

To so extent, the students of Class A already carried the scent of those corporate drones in society, numbed by the tornt of work.

Setting up a proper reward and punishnt chanism could be an attempt to rekindle so passion and excitent in their gradually cooling hearts.

"Fine. I approve of this proposal. However, the selection of the person to hold the Private Points is a tricky issue, isn't it?"

"About that," Hashimoto Masayoshi, who had been eavesdropping sneakily, promptly poked his head over and volunteered, "I think I'm not a bad candidate."

"..."

Fuyuji Mikage was silent for a long mont before he squeezed out a sentence. "How is that any different from giving a chicken to a weasel for safekeeping? At least the weasel might leave so bones behind. Give it to you, and I'm afraid not even bone scraps would remain."

"Joking, just joking." Hashimoto Masayoshi raised both hands in a gesture of surrender. "I'm well aware of my own image in class."

"Regarding this, I'd like everyone to vote on the candidate. Pick soone whom the majority trusts. That way, even if, by any chance, sothing goes wrong, it's the responsibility of the entire class rather than the fault of any single person."

"I'll leave the decision-making to you. After all, you're the leader of Class A." Fuyuji Mikage gave a crisp snap of his fingers.

After all the students had returned to the classroom, Katsuragi Kohei convened a short class eting.

Regarding the proposal to contribute a portion of their Private Points as class funds—both for future unforeseen needs and as compensation to reward students who perford outstandingly in subsequent special exams—the class, uncharacteristically, made a decision in favor with barely any discussion.

In fact, among them, apart from Morishita Ai who loved buying random things, the majority had not spent more than 50,000 points. So had even spent less than 10,000, making one suspect they were conducting a thrilling wilderness survival challenge within the school.

However, when it ca to the selection of the person to safeguard the points...

"Yes!" Katsuragi Kohei's devoted fanboy, Totsuka Yahiko, raised his hand high. "I choose Katsuragi Aniki!"

"Indeed!" Fuyuji Mikage also raised his hand in approval. "I choose Katsuragi-sensei!"

The voices in the class stalled for a mont. The next second, the Class A students unilaterally entered a discussion state among themselves.

"Fuyuji-san... he's so free every day."

"Mm... Fuyuji-kun is indeed a good candidate. I often see him strolling idly on the school roads."

"Normal people wouldn't think we'd put our points on a weirdo, right?"

"Look, isn't he just like those squinty-eyed monsters hiding among the crowd? Then later, he slicks his hair back and says so chuuni stuff like 'From this day forth, I shall stand above Advanced Nurturing High School'?"

"Can't refute that. That really does sound like sothing he'd say..."

The Class A students sat in their seats and, as if no one else was around, proceeded to talk smack about Fuyuji Mikage right in front of him.

"Hey!"

Fuyuji Mikage slapped both hands on the desk. "I'm still sitting right here! If you're going to badmouth , please do it in private, okay? What squinty-eyed monster? My eyes aren't that small! Also, please don't co looking for with this kind of work that's obviously way too easy to embezzle from, alright? I'm a very busy man. Every day I have to rack my brain thinking about what to eat for dinner that night!"

"..."

"It's decided! Fuyuji Mikage!"

"Right, Fuyuji Mikage it is!"

"We all jointly nominate Fuyuji Mikage!"

...

"I also approve. Fuyuji Mikage."

At the podium, Katsuragi Kohei, caught up in the mont, raised his hand along with them.

"Nani?! Katsuragi-kun, have you yielded to that weirdo too?! Don't give up!"

"That's right! Katsuragi... don't give up! Believe in us, who believe in you!"

The opposition faction within the class had now ford a united front.

However, despite Fuyuji Mikage's valiant resistance, two fists were no match for many hands.

In the end, Fuyuji Mikage, following "The Weirdo," acquired yet another title—"The Repository of 103,000 Little Yellows" (crossed out), The Walking Vault of Class A.
