The May wind blew in from the sea, washing the sky into a faint blue. A few cotton-like clouds drifted lazily, anchored at the edge of the heavens.

During the lunch break, Fuyuji sat in his seat, both hands propping up his cheeks, staring blankly at the drifting clouds outside the window.

Yesterday, with the help of Shiraishi Mama, he had beco acquainted with Kamuro Masumi, the girl in Class A whose physical ability was second to none—his brother.

And he had successfully brought her under his command, making her yet another fierce general for his future campaigns across Advanced Nurturing High School.

But now there was a problem. He had discovered that between himself and his brother, there seed to exist sothing called a generation gap.

In other words, he couldn't order Kamuro around. He couldn't make her strike wherever he pointed, like he could with Kito and Hashimoto.

Five minutes ago.

"Where are you off to, bro?"

The lunch choices of Japanese high school students were highly autonomous and diverse.

Students could choose to bring their own bento, eat at the school cafeteria, buy bread and rice balls, or dine out to resolve their lunch.

Today, a restaurant in Keyaki Mall had launched a fun challenge event called "It Takes Two." Fuyuji was cruelly abandoned by Morishita and Yamamura.

The reason was that last night, in order to recruit Kamuro, he had arrived half an hour late for dinner.

And so, reduced to a lonely, solitary old man, Fuyuji could only randomly grab a lucky classmate to help bring him back a bento.

"Tch..."

Kamuro, just about to walk out of the classroom, slowly turned around, an impatient expression on her face.

"I told you, don't call by that appellation! Who's your brother?! What do you want?"

"Are you going out to eat?" Fuyuji amiably put forward his request. "When you co back, if you have the ti, could you bring back a bento on the way?"

Kamuro raised an eyebrow. "It's about a ten-minute walk from here to the convenience store. Just go yourself."

"I'm currently in a lonely old man state and don't feel like moving right now. Is the place you're going to very far from the convenience store?"

"No!" Kamuro folded her arms and gave Fuyuji a sidelong glance. "It's just a two-minute walk. But I don't want to bring you anything."

"Why?"

"Obviously because of that appellation!" Kamuro glared viciously at Fuyuji and spoke through gritted teeth.

What the hell kind of "my brother"?!

Was that a normal term of address for a regular girl? Even now, she still rembered the bizarre stares from that group of students in the elevator hall last night!

"Then what do you want to call you?"

Kamuro's face flushed red. She subconsciously said, "In any case, just stop calling that, and I'll help you bring it back."

"About that..." Fuyuji looked sowhat conflicted. "I actually still want to call you 'my brother,' you see."

"Then no deal!"

Before Fuyuji could respond, Kamuro, as if her fur had been thoroughly ruffled, threw down those three words and stord off in a huff.

Fuyuji stared blankly at the purple half-ponytail swinging behind her head, montarily dumbfounded.

Actually, we could still keep negotiating, couldn't we? Didn't you say you'd join my Weirdo Squad and help conquer a vast territory?

What about yesterday's solemn vows?

Weren't you the one yesterday swearing up and down for to assign you a task?

How co you're even harder to get close to than when I first t you? Could it be our closeness level is still insufficient?

Watching Kamuro's departing figure, Fuyuji sank into deep thought.

"What's wrong?"

Shiraishi, who had just returned to the classroom, imdiately noticed Fuyuji's preoccupation.

"It's like this..." After pondering for a bit and finding himself truly unable to figure it out, Fuyuji decided to seek help.

One minute later.

"That won't work, you know."

After understanding the situation, Shiraishi chuckled softly and waved a finger.

"That's not how you communicate with Kamuro-san."

"Then how do I communicate?"

Shiraishi smiled without speaking and beckoned with her small, snow-white hand, signaling Fuyuji to lean closer.

Could it require so specific language?

Fuyuji muttered to himself internally but still leaned his body slightly over.

Seeing this, Shiraishi also leaned over, her brows and eyes curving, bringing her mouth close to Fuyuji's ear.

The two, separated by the aisle between their seats, whispered closely in the corner of the classroom.

Shiraishi's face bore a smile, her pink lips gently parting.

"Be a bit more forceful. Maybe, in her heart, she actually wants to help but just can't say it out loud. Use a strong, commanding tone to give her a way out and save dignity."

He slowly turned his head, his eyes widening, and uttered blankly:

"Haah?"

Shiraishi nodded, her breath like orchids. "Give it a try."

"Will it really work?"

"It will."

Half-believing, half-doubting, Fuyuji took out his phone and opened his chat page with Kamuro.

[Fuyuji Mikage: My brother, where are you? Are you eating right now?]

Given her lone-wolf personality, she was most likely eating lunch by herself today. So, alti should be over pretty quickly. Just in case, he'd ask first.

[Kamuro Masumi: No. Stop bothering ! If you want a bento, go buy it yourself. It's not like you're crippled.]

[Fuyuji Mikage: Bring back two bentos!]

[Kamuro Masumi: Are your eyes blind? I said I'm busy!]

[Fuyuji Mikage: My brother, this is a mandatory task.]

After the clock on the wall ticked and tocked past more than half a circle...

[Kamuro Masumi: A guy with such a nasty personality like you should just hurry up and die!]

[Fuyuji Mikage: ? So, does this an you agree?]

...

Ten minutes later.

Fuyuji stared blankly at the two bentos on his desk, then at Kamuro sitting in the seat in front of him, arms crossed and legs crossed, looking down on him with a glare. He murmured to himself, "So that's how you solve it."

"What? Is there a problem with the bento I bought?" Fuming with rage, Kamuro rapped her fingers continuously against her own arm, her face full of indignation.

"No, n-no, not at all."

Strike while the iron is hot. Fuyuji decided to try again.

He cleared his throat and, full of anticipation, once again put forward a request. "My brother, could you bring back two bottles of a drink?"

"I'm tired right now. If you want it, go yourself."

"My brother, this is an order!"

A fist rcilessly hamred into Fuyuji's shoulder. Kamuro scraped at Fuyuji with a murderous glare and once again left his front.

Five minutes later, two bottles of a drink crashed heavily onto Fuyuji's desk, producing a dull, muffled thud.

"Oh!"

Fuyuji's eyes blazed with an unprecedented light. He abruptly stood up and grasped Kamuro's hands.

"Masumi! So you're this type!"

"Wha— What are you doing? Why are you suddenly calling by my na? Let go of my hands, quickly!"

Kamuro's face flushed red. Her swinging long legs unconsciously stilled and set down. She silently shuffled a little further back towards the seat in front of her.

Fuyuji released her hands. "Nothing. I just suddenly think you're very cute."

"Haah? What nonsense are you spouting!"

To the side, Shiraishi propped her chin on her hand and watched the interaction between the two with a beaming smile.

Having learned the correct thod for using Kamuro, Fuyuji began his series of bizarre operations.

"Masumi, I order you to morize 50 vocabulary words every day, recite two Japanese literature passages, complete 10 large science problems, and finally, do two practice Social Studies test papers."

"..."

Several veins bulged on the back of her hand. A # symbol slowly surfaced on her forehead. Kamuro spoke, her face dark, enunciating every single word:

"Are you, perhaps, getting a little too big for your britches?"

Thirty seconds later, having received a kick to his backside, Fuyuji silently added a line to his Kamuro Masumi Operation Manual:

Before use, make absolutely sure to ascertain Kamuro Masumi's true bottom line. Otherwise, suffer a devastating counterattack.

After stretching her limbs a bit, Kamuro felt significantly less frustrated. She said coldly:

"If there's nothing else, I'm leaving."

"Wait!"

Fuyuji shook his head firmly and extended his index finger towards Kamuro with a serious expression. "There is one final matter."

"Are you ever going to be done?!" Kamuro flew into a rage.

Fuyuji held out one of the bento boxes.

"Let's eat together. This ti, it's not an order. It's a request."

"This..."

Kamuro's gaze fell on the bento box extended before her. She subconsciously wanted to retreat half a step, yet her toes felt as if nailed to the floor, refusing to budge.

"As for that appellation... if you're unwilling, then forget it. It was my fault for calling you that without getting your consent first."

Fuyuji stuffed the other bottle of drink into Kamuro's hand. "Whatever you say I should call you, I'll call you that from now on. Now, please, eat with ."

Kamuro averted her head. Her fingertips unconsciously tightened around the bottle that had just been shoved into her hand. She looked out the window. The white clouds were still drifting leisurely across the sky.

"Call ... however... you like."

"Hm?"

Fuyuji leaned his head closer. "What did you say?"

"I said, call however you damn well like!" Her voice suddenly shot up eight octaves.

"I got it. Keep it down. I'm going to go deaf."

"Aren't you already deaf right now?! And, I don't want that one! I want the one with the octopus sausages!"

"Fine, fine, fine. You're the one who bought the bentos. You're the boss, alright."
