The next day.

The Chess Club.

Sakayanagi Arisu was facing off against the president of the Chess Club.

Sakayanagi Arisu's follower, Kamuro Masumi, stood by her side, knitting her brows. Her eyes were fixed intently on the chessboard, a thoughtful expression on her face.

Hmm...

She didn't understand it at all. She didn't even know the nas of these chess pieces, let alone who had the advantage or disadvantage.

Perhaps the players in the middle of the match had just made a Brilliant move, but in Kamuro Masumi's eyes, it was just an ordinary movent of a piece.

This match lasted a long ti.

After an hour had passed, the Chess Club president lowered his head and said in a dejected voice, "I lost."

Now Kamuro understood. It ant Sakayanagi had won.

She lowered her head slightly and noticed that although the white-haired girl sitting in the chair still wore a faint smile, the details on her face were different from usual. It seed as if she had just gone through a fierce battle.

"Senpai, your skill level has improved a lot compared to last ti."

Sakayanagi Arisu picked up the cane placed beside her and slowly stood up. "I am very happy to have had such a wonderful match with you today. I have other business to attend to, so I will be taking my leave."

Hearing her words, Kamuro Masumi's expression beca strange.

You have other business? How co I didn't know you had other business?

Kamuro Masumi rembered that before coming here, Sakayanagi Arisu had intended to use the people from the Chess Club as an appetizer, with the real main course being Takada Hikaru.

How could her appetite be so small that she was full after just one appetizer?

Just before leaving, Sakayanagi Arisu approached the boy from the neighboring class in the sa grade. "Takada-san, co to think of it, I haven't congratulated you on being promoted to Class A yet. Although Katsuragi and I took many precautions, in the end, we couldn't stop you and your class from becoming Class A."

The original Class A currently had two leaders. One was Sakayanagi Arisu, and the other was Katsuragi Kohei.

The latter was quite skilled at managing the class. He dared to correct his classmates' little tricks during class and was also able to win them over with virtue. This was how he helped the class maintain 940 Class Points after the first month's aptitude assessnt.

According to the teachers, the original Class A's class points were actually the highest in history. Even Horikita Manabu, who was hailed as the best student in Advanced Nurturing High School, couldn't lead his class to retain that many points in the first month.

Yet, what was surprising was that the original Class B was even more terrifying. Not only did they surpass the achievents of previous Class Bs, but they even surpassed the original Class A led by both Sakayanagi Arisu and Katsuragi Kohei, boasting an impressive 980 Class Points.

Perhaps, many years from now, no other class would achieve a better result in the aptitude assessnt.

"I only told them the school's rules. Being able to achieve such good results is all thanks to everyone in the class." Takada Hikaru said truthfully.

He had indeed only ntioned the existence of the aptitude assessnt on the second day of school. As for whether his classmates followed classroom discipline or played tricks in class, he hadn't interfered.

"Hehe."

"Takada-san, you aren't the type of person who only speaks empty platitudes like friendship and effort, are you?"

"Even in Shonen Jump, the word 'victory' is added at the end." Takada Hikaru replied with a smile.

Friendship, effort, victory.

This was the slogan of Shonen Jump.

If there were only friendship and effort without the final victory, it would be an incomplete slogan.

What Takada Hikaru said was not just to help complete the slogan, but also to express his own opinion.

After hearing his words, a faint smile appeared on Sakayanagi Arisu's face. "Takada-san, that's what makes it interesting. I look forward to our next match."

She walked out of the activity room with her cane. Kamuro Masumi followed behind her without a word, though the expression on her face was sowhat strange.

After the girls left, the mbers of the Chess Club dejectedly ca to Takada Hikaru's side.

The president, who was leading them, said, "Takada-kun, I'm sorry. You put your heart and soul into teaching us for a month, but I still lost in the end."

Takada Hikaru shook his head. "Senpai, please don't mind it. Your skill level has indeed improved significantly compared to last month."

Hearing this, the Chess Club president's eyes brightened slightly. "Then, can we continue to ask for your guidance this month?"

Takada Hikaru's teaching ability was truly excellent. Throughout this past month, their skills had been continuously improving. Being able to hire a chess expert to guide them for a fee of 50,000 per month could be considered a steal.

However, Takada Hikaru raised his hand to refuse. "Sorry, I no longer have a need for that."

He had chosen to teach the Shogi Club and Chess Club mbers not to earn points, but to leave an impression on the audience that he was soone capable of earning points.

In his initial plan, he had intended to earn about 2 million points after the first month ended. But as the point collection plan for the Third Year proceeded smoothly, he had already successfully established his persona as soone very capable of earning money in front of the audience.

If he continued to tutor the seniors at the "low price" of 50,000 points per month, his image might actually be damaged if the audience discovered it. Therefore, stopping the tutoring of senior students from now on was the correct course of action.

"Do you think the points we are giving you are too few?"

The Chess Club president frowned. "We can discuss the price again, even giving you 55,000 points per month would be no problem."

Takada Hikaru shook his head and said regretfully, "Senpai, this isn't about the points. I really just don't want to waste too much ti on this anymore."

Coming to the club activity building every afternoon to tutor the seniors was a hassle for him.

Takada Hikaru smiled and patted the other party's shoulder, "If there's an opportunity in the future, perhaps we can play chess together again."

He turned and left the activity room, leaving behind a group of club mbers looking at each other in dismay.

anwhile, at the school's cafe, Sakayanagi Arisu arrived and sat down, quietly enjoying the atmosphere of the cafe.

Kamuro Masumi sat opposite her and asked softly, "Why won't you continue to look for Takada to play chess? Aren't you soone who has been looking forward to a match with him?"

The corners of Sakayanagi Arisu's lips turned up slightly. "Kamuro-san, being too impatient is not a good thing. The outco between Takada-san and cannot be decided on a chessboard, it must be on a higher stage."

Really?

Kamuro Masumi felt that she was lying.

Why did she feel that Sakayanagi Arisu had already overworked her brain and no longer had the energy to compete with Takada Hikaru?
