"200,000 points?"

The Shogi Club mber's face turned slightly pale.

For him, this was not a small sum. Moreover, if he lost again, he would lose 300,000 points.

Takada Hikaru saw his difficulty and kindly said, "If senpai can't afford it, then step down for now. I'm in a hurry to challenge the Chess club."

As soon as he said this, veins popped up on the faces of both the student who had just lost and the other two Shogi Club mbers.

How could they not understand Takada Hikaru's implication?

This clearly ant he didn't take them seriously.

"I'll play you."

Another mber approached the board with a cold expression. "If you lose, you must not only give us 200,000 points but also apologize for what you just said."

"That's fine." Takada Hikaru said with an indifferent smile. "Let's sign the contract first."

The second contract was quickly signed. If Takada Hikaru lost, he would give the opponent 200,000 points. Conversely, if he won, the opponent would give him 200,000.

As a theirf year student, he naturally had 200,000 points saved up, so Takada Hikaru wasn't worried that he couldn't produce the points.

Before long, the second mber also lost.

"What the heck?" That mber also felt baffled.

He clearly felt victory was within his grasp and that he would win soon. But Takada Hikaru only made a casual move, and he had already lost.

"200,000 points." Takada Hikaru raised his Terminal, indicating that he should transfer the points.

"Damn it!"

The second senior accepted his loss, and although he grumbled, he transferred the 200,000 points to Takada Hikaru.

After receiving the points, Takada Hikaru looked toward the last student in the Shogi Club.

"Don't look at ." That student quickly shook his head. "There's no way I can put up 400,000 points to compete with you."

Although he hadn't been able to figure out how Takada Hikaru won, he knew his two teammates weren't bad players. If even they lost miserably, let alone him.

"How about I go easy on you seniors?" Takada Hikaru said with a slight smile. "I'll play against all three of you simultaneously, and the three of you can pool together 400,000 points to gamble with ."

"Playing Shogi against three people simultaneously?!"

The Shogi Club mbers widened their eyes.

Even the teacher responsible for guaranteeing the match looked sowhat incredulous.

The last remaining mber asked nervously, "Kōhai-kun, I need to confirm. Are we three people playing one ga against you, or are we three each playing one ga against you simultaneously?"

If it was the latter, then Takada Hikaru would have to play three gas at once. Even with high skill, it would be difficult to handle the assault of three national-level players, right?

"Of course, it's the way senpais want most." Takada Hikaru said, narrowing his eyes and smiling confidently. "If senpais still lack the confidence to compete with , then people might look down on you."

Hearing this, the three Shogi Club mbers looked at each other's faces, and finally nodded simultaneously.

"Let's do it."

"If the three of us together can't beat you, I'll quit Shogi forever."

To defeat Takada Hikaru, they even made a dramatic vow.

Under the teacher's witness, Takada Hikaru signed a contract with all the Shogi Club mbers. He would play one ga against each of the three people simultaneously. If he lost even one ga, he would give the Shogi Club mbers 400,000 points. If he won all three gas, he would receive 400,000 points from the Shogi Club.

'Am I dreaming?'

The teacher acting as the referee watched the board, cold sweat breaking out on his face.

Takada Hikaru, competing against three people simultaneously, showed no sign of panic. For every ga, he rely glanced at it before making a move.

In contrast, the Shogi Club mbers had solemn expressions, were sweating profusely, and took a long ti to make a single move. However, they still couldn't escape the fate of total defeat.

"Thank you for senpais' gift. I gratefully accept it."

After simultaneously defeating all the Shogi Club mbers, Takada Hikaru gained another 400,000 points.

Hearing what he said, the Shogi Club mbers felt miserable.

Killing them and then whipping the corpse?

Are you even human?

"Kōhai-kun, your skill is impressive. We concede." A Shogi Club mber said, confused. "But why have we never heard your na?"

They had been participating in Shogi competitions since elentary school and had long heard of players their age, yet they had never heard of Takada Hikaru's na. Logically, such an outstanding player should have been treated as a prodigy by the country, with his fa spread far and wide.

Hearing this, Takada Hikaru replied, "Of course, you wouldn't hear my na in the Shogi world. After all... I only learned how to play Shogi starting today."

After speaking, he left the Shogi Club activity room and rushed toward the location of the next club.

The Shogi Club mbers who heard his words were left gaping in astonishnt.

"Did I hear that wrong? He only learned Shogi today?"

"He did say that, but he must be lying."

The Shogi Club mbers were one thousand percent unwilling to believe what Takada Hikaru had said. The idea that a complete novice could crush veterans like them was simply too ridiculous.

If Takada Hikaru had stayed there and learned the Shogi Club mbers' thoughts, he would surely have sighed, "In this day and age, no one believes you even when you tell the truth."

Chess Club.

When Takada Hikaru arrived at the activity room, he found a short, white-haired girl had arrived before him.

The girl wore a beret, sat in a seat provided by the club, and had a walking stick placed beside her. All these things indicated her identity.

Class 1-A's Sakayanagi Arisu.

She was currently competing against a Chess Club mber. Compared to her opponent, who was sweating profusely and whose face was twisted in distress, Sakayanagi Arisu was calm and composed, wearing a faint smile.

"I lose."

Before long, the Chess Club mber bowed his head in defeat. "I will transfer the points to you according to the contract."

"Senpai's skill is quite impressive." Sakayanagi Arisu's voice carried a hint of pleasure. "If you pay more attention to details, you still have hope of becoming a professional player."

"Th-thank you for the complint."

Being praised by a junior made the Chess Club mber slightly embarrassed.

However, her skill level was genuinely higher than his, so he could only humbly accept her instruction.

'With this, the Chess Club challenge is complete.' Sakayanagi Arisu picked up her walking stick and slowly stood up.

Just as she turned to leave, she unintentionally caught sight of Takada Hikaru standing at the doorway, and her eyebrows subtly arched.

"Ara, it seems there's a fish that got away." Sakayanagi Arisu pursed her lips and looked over calmly.

"Classmate, maybe you are the big fish." Takada Hikaru curled his lips slightly, a glint in his eyes.
