Gu Anxi paid no attention to any of this. After school, she only went to the student council to fill out the form for next month’s student council mber election. In the options, she only ticked the box for student council president, and the person who attended to her was none other than Qin Siyuan.
It was unclear whether it was intentional, but the office, with just the two of them, was exceptionally quiet. Gu Anxi had just finished filling out the form and was about to leave when Qin Siyuan suddenly grabbed her from behind. "Anxi... Gu Anxi..."
Gu Anxi tried to pull her hand away but couldn’t. She turned her head to look at Qin Siyuan. "Senior Qin, please show so self-respect."
His expression imdiately turned grim. "Self-respect? Gu Anxi, is it only *that* person who can touch you and kiss you as he pleases?"
When he saw the photos, he was consud with jealousy.
He had seen her cupped in soone else’s hands, docilely allowing that person to kiss her. Her body language showed no resistance; she even seed to respond...
Qin Siyuan felt like he was going mad. He released her, a low growl, like that of a wounded animal, escaping his throat. "Gu Anxi, don’t torture like this!"
Gu Anxi just watched and listened quietly, appearing entirely indifferent.
After a long mont, she finally spoke, her voice a little hoarse, "Qin Siyuan, no one is torturing anyone. Every step is one’s own choice."
With that, she turned and left without a shred of reluctance.
Qin Siyuan wanted to say more, but as he looked up, his gaze fell upon Shen Wanqing standing at the office doorway. Her eyes were brimming with tears, and she stared at him in disbelief, whispering, "Siyuan..."
Shen Wanqing had actually always known who occupied Qin Siyuan’s heart. Yet, she had never imagined he would be in such agony. Was he truly so unhappy being with her? When he confessed to Gu Anxi, had he not considered her feelings at all?
If Gu Anxi were to reciprocate, would he imdiately get together with her?
Shen Wanqing suddenly felt a profound fear; she had no sense of security at all. She glared resentfully at Gu Anxi. "Gu Anxi, do you just love snatching other people’s boyfriends? Aren’t Professor Bo and Gu Shao enough for you? You won’t even spare Qin Siyuan?"
Gu Anxi’s steps faltered. Her cool gaze landed on Shen Wanqing’s face as she offered a faint smile. "I’d advise you to choose your words carefully. If you’re unsure about your condition, it would be better to get a diagnosis before you co out. Otherwise, if you bite soone, I wouldn’t even know which hospital departnt to send them to!"
"Besides," Gu Anxi lowered her head slightly, eting Shen Wanqing’s eyes, "I don’t make a habit of *not* hitting won. You don’t even have the courage to bla the man, do you? Are you and he truly equals?"
After saying her piece, she left, heading towards the library.
Shen Wanqing looked up to see Qin Siyuan’s gaze still fixed on Gu Anxi’s retreating figure. She nearly ground her teeth to powder, yet she murmured, "Siyuan, I know she was the one who initiated it."
"No, I was the one who initiated it." Qin Siyuan’s gaze remained fixed on the distance for a mont before he turned to Shen Wanqing. "I’m sorry. I thought I could forget her, but I can’t control myself."
Shen Wanqing looked as if she was about to lose her mind. She rushed forward and threw her arms around him. "Siyuan, she must have bewitched you! She must have! Weren’t we so good together before? You loved so much, you did so much for ..."
Had he really?
Qin Siyuan felt a daze co over him. Why did it all feel like re trifles to him? Why had he never felt happy with Shen Wanqing? Being with her, in fact, only filled him with guilt towards Gu Anxi...
