Shen Wanqing was on the verge of tears again. "What about you? Don’t you like anymore?"
She stepped forward, grasping his arm. "Before Gu Anxi returned, we were doing well. You said I was beautiful and talented. You said you loved watching when I was quiet..."
Qin Siyuan remained silent. He didn’t tell her it was because her quiet deanor held a slight resemblance to Gu Anxi’s charm. Nor did he tell her that if Gu Anxi would just nod and say yes, he would turn back to her in a heartbeat, even if it ant eternal damnation.
But she wouldn’t. Gu Anxi wouldn’t...
He thought bitterly again. This was the girl he loved. If she readily turned back, readily forgave, would she still be Gu Anxi? How would she be any different from anyone else?
In the end, he still wiped Shen Wanqing’s tears away for her and said softly, "Go back ho. I won’t abandon you."
He was just settling, that’s all.
A faint smile touched Shen Wanqing’s lips, though tears still stread down her face. She knew Qin Siyuan’s heart was no longer with her; she had to find so security for herself.
"Siyuan, I will help you," she murmured, hugging him.

On the way back, Bo Xichen was driving. The car pulled up in front of the small experintal building.
Gu Anxi didn’t see the car Feng Mian usually drove. She looked at Bo Xichen as he unbuckled his seatbelt. "Feng Mian will be back tomorrow."
Gu Anxi just said, "Oh." The two of them walked into the guest suite together. Bo Xichen then picked up the several large bags of snacks. "Miss Spiderman, is this what you eat when I’m not around?"
Gu Anxi snatched them from his hands and sat on the sofa, clutching the snacks like precious treasures. "My mom bought these." With that, she picked out a bag and started to munch on it.
Bo Xichen walked over and sat down beside her, chuckling. "Did you two make up?"
Gu Anxi looked a little uncomfortable. "Oh," she said. "Perhaps."
She then added, "She was around when Feng Mian transferred your allowance to ."
He placed his palm on the crown of her head, gently ruffling her hair twice. "So, what did she make of that?"
Gu Anxi kept her eyes on the TV, a faint blush dusting her cheeks. "She said n need to be tested slowly. And also... that you shouldn’t do... *that*... with elders in airports, cars, libraries, or..."
"*That* what?" he asked, snatching a snack from her hand and feeding it to her.
Gu Anxi’s face turned even redder. "It ans when faced with shaless requests from elders, you have to dare to say no..."
Bo Xichen chuckled. "Naughty! No rewards for you." With that, he got up and headed to the kitchen, apparently to prepare food.
Gu Anxi paused, stunned for a mont. She slowly chewed her snack, mulling over his words several tis before she finally understood what he ant...
She imdiately ran over to him. "Bo Xichen, what do you an ’no rewards’?"
He only showed her his handso back. "Gu Anxi, what do you an by ’elders’ outrageous requests’? Hmm? Say it again for to hear."
She went over and hugged him from behind.
She didn’t do anything else, just held him. After a good while, she murmured softly, "Are we... together now?"
He didn’t move. "You’re currently hugging , Miss Spiderman."
"Oh." She leaned her head against his back again. After a mont, she ran back to the guest suite to eat snacks and watch TV.
Dr. Bo, thoroughly flustered by her teasing, sighed quietly. Gu Anxi truly was a passionate and straightforward girl. She would show her affection without pretense, and if she disliked soone, she wouldn’t beat around the bush. It was this kind of personality that had created Luo Lin, that had led to the infinite... Infinite... Bo Xichen felt a slight headache coming on, yet within this ache, there was a trace of sweetness. Just as he’d said before: if you like soone, you just do. Even if it causes headaches, you still like them. What could be done about it?
