Bo Xichen chuckled. "They’ll only dote on you more! If we don’t attend the Gu family’s banquet, they will surely hold a small banquet at our ho to formally introduce you to relatives and friends."
"There’s no need for such a grand affair." Gu Anxi threw herself into his arms. "Actually, I don’t really care about that."

The poor girl, her face beet red, stamred, "Gu Anxi, th-that... I wouldn’t know about that. Th-that’s sothing only you would know."
After saying this, Wang Qin quickly ran off, as if sothing was chasing her.
Gu Anxi shook her head with an amused smile and then headed to Yunxi Hospital. She had neglected her lab classes since coming from Qingcheng, but she had recently started catching up.
Upon arriving at Yunxi Hospital, an assistant nurse told her that Doctor Bo was in a eting and that if she ca, she should wait in his office.
Gu Anxi, thinking she would do her experints, changed into a doctor’s coat and prepared to go to the laboratory. However, on the sa floor, she ran into Fang Ming.
Fang Ming was there to have his dressing changed and his splint removed; the latter was particularly uncomfortable.
Gu Anxi looked at him and cleared her throat. "Mr. Fang, is it? I’m taking over from your attending physician to change your dressing."
She had deliberately altered her voice and was fully decked out in dical attire, so for a mont, Fang Ming actually didn’t recognize her as Gu Anxi. Thus, he nodded, walked towards the treatnt room, obediently lay down, took off his jacket, and unbuttoned his shirt.
Gu Anxi found this amusing and cleared her throat. "Nice physique."
Young Master Fang, who was usually quite haughty, turned his head aside at her words. "Just change the dressing. What’s with all the unnecessary talk?" He couldn’t help but add, "I already have soone I like. You better not be thinking about my physique."
Gu Anxi suppressed her laughter. She deftly removed his splint, applied the dication, and then said in her usual voice, "Fang Ming, now that I’ve changed your dressing for you, I’ve taken responsibility, right?"

Fang Ming’s head snapped back around, and he stared at Gu Anxi, utterly shocked.
Gu Anxi pulled down her mask and said with a smile, "Surprised?"
Fang Ming imdiately clutched his clothes tightly, his expression of sha and indignation making Gu Anxi want to laugh her head off. "Fang Ming, I’m a doctor now," she said.
"Do you have a license?" Fang Ming stared at her, carefully buttoning his clothes like a bashful young maiden.
Gu Anxi put her hands behind her back and cleared her throat. "As luck would have it, I just happened to pass the exam for one last month. Doctor Bo specially recomnded , and I obtained the license through a special channel. Want to see it?"
Fang Ming didn’t need to look, because he knew that for soone like Gu Anxi, no miracle would be strange.
Just as he finished buttoning up, Mrs. Fang happened to co over. Seeing Gu Anxi, she paused. "Student Gu, why are you dressed like this?"
Then her thoughts beca difficult to put into words. Could it be that she and Doctor Bo were playing so kind of dress-up ga with uniforms?
Fang Ming saw his mother’s expression and knew she was letting her thoughts run wild, so he cleared his throat. "Gu Anxi has a dical license."

As she spoke, she genuinely felt regretful, wishing Gu Anxi could be her actual daughter-in-law.
Fang Ming is 22 this year, and Gu Anxi is 20. Such perfect ages, such a great match!

At these words, Fang Ming chuckled, and Mrs. Fang covered her mouth with a smile. "This girl Anxi is really wonderful," Mrs. Fang said. "No wonder Old Fang couldn’t stop praising her when he got back. I think she’s great too! Alright, Doctor Bo, Fang Ming and I will head back first.
