Upon hearing this, Gu Yuanshan thought it was a good idea.
He looked at his sister and nodded. "But, I want to give so to one other person."
Gu Ning looked at him.
Gu Yuanshan sighed. "Congwen has been with for many years. I owe him too much."
Gu Ning looked at her brother, feeling quite speechless. "You’re muddled about this. He’s a good person, yet you insisted on using him and didn’t even treat him well."
However, she did ntion sothing she knew. "I heard from An Xi that Congwen and Zhou Yunchen are living together now."
Gu Yuanshan’s grief montarily subsided, replaced by stunned disbelief. "Is that really true? How could that happen between them? They... they clearly couldn’t, right?"
Gu Ning also sighed. "Such a fine young man, what a pity."
Gu Yuanshan felt the sa sense of regret, which made him want to compensate Congwen even more. After all, he had started this whole ss. Back then, for Jing’s sake, Congwen had gone to great lengths dealing with that Zhou fellow. That scoundrel Zhou must have deliberately seduced Congwen; Congwen must have been forced!

Gu Yuanshan sneered. "Exactly! If it weren’t for your youth, beauty, and those pitiful, moving tears, would I have married you? A woman like you, what else are you good for besides warming my bed and bearing children? But you’ve failed at both. What use do I have for you?"
Tang Yuan initially wanted to argue, but thinking about her future, she forced herself to hold back...
