Min Xin had plenty of reason to doubt Gu Anxi.
Zhou Yu usually didn’t bother with him much, but today was entirely different.
They hadn’t spent ti like newlyweds in a long while. She was always rejecting his presence.

Instead of getting angry, Min Xin laughed. He pinched her chin. "Still pretending to be so virtuous?"
His gaze fell on the two small bottles. "Without this, could you have been so... earlier?"
Before he could finish his sentence, Zhou Yu slapped him across the face.
The crisp sound of the slap was quite loud. The servants at the door were startled, and after a mont, one hesitantly ca forward. "Sir, two people are here, saying you called for them."
Min Xin’s expression was terribly dark. "Have them co up."
The servant quickly scurried away.
Min Xin looked at Zhou Yu again, frowning. "Go back to your room. You don’t want outsiders to see you like this, do you?"

People from the laboratory ca and took only a sample. The small bottles remained with Min Xin. They returned to run the tests imdiately, while Min Xin waited patiently in the study.
