Gu Anxi got into the car downstairs. Bo Xichen turned his head to look at her. "You caused such a huge stir, so why the long face?"
Gu Anxi clung to his arm with a bit of a coquettish air. "Uncle, am I terribly naughty?"
He looked down at her. "How did you beco so self-aware all of a sudden?"
She lifted her eyes and grinned at him.
He chuckled, smoothing her hair. "What’s wrong?"
Gu Anxi’s voice was soft. "I’m just a little disappointed."
Her voice softened even more. "I thought that when Min Xin found out the child was his and that everything was a sham, he would abandon Dark, abandon power, and be willing to start over."
Bo Xichen didn’t say anything. He just comforted her with a gentle touch.
Gu Anxi continued, "Even though Sister Zhou didn’t say it, I know she’s a bit disappointed too."

Gu Anxi sat up straight and muttered quietly, "He’s so astute; there’s no way I could trick him."
Bo Xichen just smiled and said nothing more.
Gu Anxi leaned back quietly against the seat and slowly fell asleep.
When she woke up, the car had already reached Si Garden. She looked around. "Uncle?"
Bo Xichen humd in acknowledgnt. "We’re ho."
The car door opened, and he lifted her out. Gu Anxi playfully insisted on him carrying her on his back.
Young Uncle Bo chuckled lightly, endearingly carrying her... She lay on his back, talking intermittently. Servants passing by all chuckled to themselves.
"Gu Anxi, everyone is laughing at you. Are you sure you don’t want to get down?" Bo Xichen asked softly.
Gu Anxi mumbled, a bit stubbornly, "I don’t want to get down."
Young Uncle Bo didn’t seem to mind. Anyway, ever since this little rascal had co into his ho, his dignified image had been completely shattered.
