Min Xin replied with a strained smile, "There’s a lot of work in the office. I can’t get away."

Min Xin stared at her for a long mont before saying, "Coffee."

Zhou Yu placed the coffee in front of him and sat down on another armchair. "If you’re injured, you shouldn’t be smoking or drinking coffee."
Min Xin smiled faintly. "Worried about ?"
Zhou Yu shook her head. "Not really. I just don’t want my child to be without a father."
Min Xin stared at her, his heart growing incredibly soft. After a mont, he asked in a hoarse voice, "Even if there were no father, you would still take good care of him, wouldn’t you?"
Zhou Yu looked at him in surprise, then smiled faintly.
She thought he ant he would remarry, have a new family, and thus be unable to acknowledge this child.
After her smile faded, she said softly, "Don’t worry. When the child is born, I’ll raise him myself. I won’t cause you any trouble."
Only then did he realize she had misunderstood him, and misunderstood him deeply.
