Bo Nianyao touched his nose and looked at his wife. Lady Bo coughed lightly. "Wang Keru might not have directly influenced Anxi, but indirectly, she truly did have quite an impact!"
Gu Anxi, however, looked disdainful. "We’re talking about serious matters here!" She paused, then added, "My father is barely maintaining his position as Family Head; you’ll have to find soone else to keep you company."
Old Mr. Wang was surprised. "Why can’t he hang on to it? Is Xichen planning to beco the new Family Head?"
Gu Anxi leaned back on the sofa and crossed her long legs. Lady Bo casually handed her an apple, and Gu Anxi took a small bite. She then gave an apple to the old man, and they both began to munch on them. After eating half of hers, she finally said, "Where has our uncle gotten to? He’s always so busy."
The old man asked curiously, "Who’s going to take that position then? Nianyao doesn’t have any other sons!"
Gu Anxi shot a glance in a certain direction. The old man reacted with surprise. "Ah, was Bo Qing actually Nianyao’s son?"
He calculated on his fingers. "Nianyao is in his fifties, but Bo Qing is also in his forties. By that calculation, Nianyao wasn’t even an adult when Bo Qing was born. How’s that possible?" After a mont, he widened his old eyes again. "Could it be that Nianyao... isn’t like other n?"

The old man continued munching on his apple. He looked around, and his gaze finally fell on Old Master Bo. "So, it was your idea?"
Denying or admitting it would be problematic for Old Master Bo, especially since Old Mr. Wang was such a sensitive figure. He could only laugh and say, "It’s the Bo Family’s internal affairs!"
Old Mr. Wang clapped his hands and looked at his wife. The old lady took out a handkerchief, wiped her husband’s mouth, and then said slowly and deliberately, "If Xichen doesn’t beco the Family Head, then we really have no reason to marry Anxi into the Bo Family."
