Madam Bo wasn’t convinced. "How do we know if we don’t try?"
Just then, Gu Anxi had settled into her car and was about to leave. Madam Bo rushed over with Bo Nianyao in tow and excitedly told Anxi about their discussion. Madam Bo described it as if it were as easy as winning a hand in a small card ga, making it sound effortlessly achievable. Bo Nianyao stood by, chuckling ruefully. "You really are sothing..."
He then said to Gu Anxi, "Don’t listen to your Aunt Bo; she doesn’t understand. She’s oversimplifying things."
Gu Anxi fastened her seatbelt. Her hands rested on the steering wheel, and she rubbed them together a few tis before saying, "Actually, I took care of it last night."

Gu Anxi was rather speechless. She waved at them and quickly drove away.
The Bo couple watched the car’s exhaust fus as if they were fragrant incense. Bo Nianyao, especially, rubbed his hands in excitent. "No, I have to discuss this with King Jingyao."
Bo Nianyao excitedly instructed the butler to prepare the car. He quickly tidied his clothes and headed out. Madam Bo watched him go, shaking her head with a smile.
With everyone, young and old, out of the house, she found herself quite idle. So, she decided to pop over to the neighboring Gu family to visit and join the elders for a little ga of cards.
