After Gu Anxi finished speaking, King Jingyao slamd his hand on the table, creating a thunderous sound. "So this is your attitude!"
He pointed at Little Wang’s nose. "If you get into trouble, and that departnt or the Cloud He Group cos after you, don’t co crying to ." With that, he sat down, fuming angrily.
Little Wang rolled her eyes. Just as she was about to say sothing, footsteps approached the door. Then, the door opened, revealing Min Xin’s old face. Min Xin peeked inside, then strolled in, followed by his lackey, Wang Yuan.
Min Xin wore a gentle smile. "Jingyao, scolding your little sister again?"
He had such an amiable deanor that Gu Anxi instantly knew he was up to no good. Sure enough, after Min Xin finished speaking, he sat down beside Old Master Bo to enjoy the show.
Old Master Bo was inwardly gleeful. It looked like the little rascal was really in for it today. See? Even Min Xin had caught a whiff of trouble and co over.
Min Xin leisurely lit a cigarette and took a drag. "Jingyao, you go on with your business. I don’t have anything pressing myself."
King Jingyao glanced at him, knowing Min Xin was here purely to watch the drama unfold. Previously, he would never have let Min Xin witness such a scene. But things were different now. For one, he was genuinely furious. For another, this matter fell under Min Xin’s jurisdiction; whether it could be resolved or not depended entirely on Min Xin’s decision.
So, King Jingyao resud his verbal assault on Little Wang, not holding back in the slightest. Little Wang trembled appropriately with each rebuke. Min Xin simply watched.
As the tirade continued, Old Master Bo began to feel a pang of sympathy. This girl is the apple of our Xichen’s eye! He started to feel indignant that an outsider was scolding her so harshly. Just as he was about to speak up, Gu Anxi suddenly exclaid, "You’ve been yelling for so long! Isn’t that enough?"
Old Master Bo jumped in surprise. She has absolutely no awareness that she’s being reprimanded! King Jingyao is going to be truly furious now.
King Jingyao glared at her. "Still talking back?" He turned to Min Xin. "Alright, alright, you handle this. Take her away and lock her up for good! It’ll be a relief not to see her every day. Cleaning up after this little brat every single day is taking years off my life!"
Min Xin chuckled. "Well, if you put it that way, I’ll really have to take action against her. This kind of offense could an five years in prison at the minimum, or up to twenty. I’m not kidding."
King Jingyao was montarily speechless. Wasn’t Min Xin supposed to be on our side? I’ve put on such a show, how can he still be so impervious? This is outrageous!
King Jingyao sneered inwardly, his expression growing even colder. He pointed at Gu Anxi and berated her loudly, "Look at you! Causing trouble day in and day out! Don’t you ever clean up your own sses? And Zhou Yu—are her affairs your responsibility? You run around for her every day, do you think anyone appreciates it? Her baby is in a transverse position, so what? It’s not a child of the Bo Family! You’re busy all day as if it’s your actual job, going on about so ’intelligent AI’ that can protect Zhou Yu. You’re so damn enthusiastic, but everyone else is probably laughing their heads off at you!"
King Jingyao waved his hand dismissively. "Now, get out! Get out of my sight, and stay out!"
Min Xin had originally co to enjoy the drama, but now the tables had turned on him. The mont Zhou Yu’s na was ntioned, he couldn’t maintain his composure any longer.
Old Master Bo wasn’t a fool. He finally understood. This King Jingyao isn’t scolding her at all; he’s protecting her! And so brazenly shaless about it, too, openly twisting the knife in Min Xin! Looking at it now, King Jingyao and the little rascal were clearly in cahoots. After all this, it turned out Min Xin was the only one being roasted...
