Yun Ran dodged Er Dan’s attack with a sidestep.
Then, Er Dan’s beak collided with the wooden door of the room.
With a ’bang’, the wooden door shattered into several pieces, and in the middle, there was a faintly visible large hole.

His hand was wrapped in new bandages, looking quite shattered overall.

Er Dan was entirely oblivious to Yun Ran’s awkwardness, strolling in boldly.

Yun Ran reached out to restrain Er Dan’s neck, her tone full of warning: "Behave yourself! If you cause any more trouble here, believe , I’ll skin you!"
Just then, a smiling old man stood before Yun Ran.
In his hand was a special Compass, its pointer utterly still as if welded in place.
Er Dan curiously eyed the Compass, trying to get closer.
The old man heard about how hard this bird’s beak was and its formidable destructiveness, yet the Compass remained unmoved.
It was proof the bird was just a normal bird.
The old man imdiately put the Compass away, looking at Yun Ran with kindly grandfatherly eyes.
"Young lady, you’ve raised your bird well, but its trouble-making ability is a bit too much; as its owner, you must compensate~"
Yun Ran ca prepared for this, hearing his words without surprise.
Her expression turned sincere: "Yes, you’re right, I’m willing to compensate, but how much should I pay?"
