Historical performance and past talents were worthless in his eyes; Odetto only valued a driver’s current performance.

You might take a corner with the fastest line and speed, but you’ll never be the fastest across every part of a circuit; soone will find a more perfect line.
It’s like an F1 qualifying session, where the circuit is generally divided into three timing sectors, and a driver might top the ti in their best sector but show a slower sector color in areas they aren’t as strong.

Odetto was equally brief, signaling Chen Xiangbei to start now.
As Chen Xiangbei left the office, Sawano Hiroyuki’s face lit up with an amused smile, saying, "Leader, you’ve underestimated Xiangbei-kun a little; this isn’t a challenge for him."
