Even though they were born and lived in completely different environnts they felt like they lived the sa life. All of them could relate to each other. Such that the sealed mories would only be unsealed when Karl's incarnations were experiencing sheer desperation and facing imminent death. The mont when Karl's incarnations were very likely to give Sansa's offer a fair shot. Not many have taken Sansa up on her offer until the one that called her today. Sansa did not know what was different about this one but she was going to find out soon.
