’Evil Sealing Thousand Curse Coffin!’

With my chant, the eyes of all one thousand and twenty-four heads woven into my Curse Armor ignited with a dangerous radiance, as though each one had awakened.

The expressions on the heads varied—vivid, shifting, disturbingly alive. Each face twisted and contorted, embodying the curse that its primordial spirit had housed to beco a full curse incarnation. At the sa ti, the fingers and toes of the interwoven hands and legs began to twitch—first faintly, then unmistakably—before fully awakening. As primordial energy surged through them, their dried up and hardened skin flushed with a nacing red radiance, radiating a paradoxical sensation of searing heat and bone-deep cold.

Within a fraction of a second, the interwoven mass of more than a thousand heads and their paired limbs began to unravel. They detached from my skin in a smooth, organic motion and latched onto Slay’s pseudopod still coiled around my wrist. Tearing from my form, they crawled and slithered upward along the pseudopod in a grotesque, synchronized surge.

Slay, who had already been on high alert and was subtly preparing to sacrifice her pseudopod, reacted the instant she saw this. She imdiately severed the pseudopod attached to her head and moved back, putting distance between us while the corner of her lips turned upwards in a grin. The detachnt of the appendage revealed her smooth pink head, the elongated, bulbous skull angling diagonally to support the whip-like pseudopod with its hardened, fleshy club-shaped tip.

With the bridge between us severed, the thousand-plus curse incarnations crawling along the pseudopod had seemingly lost their path to their target—at least, that was what Slay believed. But these were curse incarnations powered by primordial energy. The mont they had latched onto her pseudopod, escape had already beco impossible. They would haunt her to the end of the world. They were inevitable.

The smug look on Slay’s face froze the mont she realized the Hybrid Celestial was no longer encased in his grotesque flesh armor. A faint itch began crawling across her skin. At first, it was rely irritating—then, in the very next breath, it surged into agony. It felt as though sothing was burrowing beneath her flesh, clawing and tearing, struggling to rip the skin and crawl to the surface from the depths of her soul.

Tornted, Slay looked down to see her pink skin stretching taut, the outlines of tightly packed heads, arms, and legs pressing from beneath—like ceramic wrap pulled to its absolute breaking point over a mass of writhing faces and limbs.

The sight was grotesque—so much so that it wasn’t only Slay who felt terror. Everyone who witnessed her current state was struck with the sa chilling dread.

Lucine nearly fainted at the sight of human faces and limbs pressing outward from beneath Slay’s skin—like the distended belly of a pregnant woman long past her term with a grotesque outline of the baby’s head and limbs forming on it. As if stuffed inside a jam-packed jar made of flesh, stretching to its limits to make room.

Lucine couldn’t tear her eyes away from the grotesque spectacle, but eventually her gaze shifted to the one responsible for it. Just like Slay, she had sensed the sinister, baleful force behind his power. Her mind instinctively leaped to the worst possible conclusion. She wanted to stop him—to tell him not to throw his life away for hers—but she had no idea how they could prevent Slay from returning to the canon tiline. She simply wasn’t strong enough and out of options.

In that helplessness, Lucine finally understood the privilege she had been ignorant of her entire life. She wanted to risk her life and drag Slay down with her, but the bitter truth struck her—aside from the crude, self-destructive detonation of her own divinity, she possessed nothing. No cards, no runes, no techniques that allowed one to gamble life for overwhelming power. She had never needed them before.

Only now did she begin to understand what the boy had been trying to help her realize earlier—when they spoke of her Origin Card. ’So this is why... my Origin Card had only triggered once, and never again.’

anwhile, I frowned, observing that Slay’s body was not just strong, but it was very versatile. Her body not only withstood the initial wave of more than thousand ruler-class curses powered by primordial energy, but continued to resist. It was a clear demonstration of just how terrifying an Ovumite physique truly was.

However, the struggle did not last long. Hive spirit and had extensively studied Slay’s soul pathways and arrangent, perceiving the weak points of her physique. Allowing the curses to make a targeted strike. As such the tug of war between Slay’s physique and my curses ended in my favor.

The heads and limbs burst through her skin, tearing it to bloody shreds, and began to weave themselves together—fingers linking with fingers, toes hooking around toes—forming a macabre lattice. In monts, Slay was encased in a coffin made of interlocked heads and limbs, with only her face left exposed, positioned as the grim centerpiece of the grotesque construct.

Until the very end—aside from the initial shock—Slay remained confident that her physique could suppress my curses. After all, through countless cycles of selective breeding, she had forged a body that could, in principle, be considered immune to curses. Even if they were of higher class than her in strength.

But reality struck without rcy. Of course, she struggled, fought with everything she possessed—only to find that the very strength and physique she took pride in had been bound, suppressed, and rendered useless the mont she was restrained and sealed within the flesh coffin.

Encased in the Evil-Sealing Thousand-Curse Coffin, Slay’s once-overwhelming presence—the aura that had dominated the battlefield—disappeared in an instant. Removing the imnse unruly pressure on the others. Lucine, inching toward the stake cautiously, asked, "Is it over?" Prepared to remove the stake at the first sign of aggression from Slay.
