"This isn’t fair, you sneak-attacked ," Corey refused to admit defeat. Her cheeks were puffed, and her body slowly rotated upside down, suspended in space. With all her prowess plundered, she couldn’t even steady herself. The sight of her spinning helplessly in the vast crimson void was both ridiculous and oddly adorable. "We clearly agreed to find a spacious place to continue our fight, but you attacked while my back was turned."

"No, I didn’t sneak-attack you. You decided things for yourself and tried to look cool in the middle of a battle. That’s your fault. You challenged to a fight, and I gave you a fair one. If you can’t see that, there’s nothing I can do. I don’t have ti to stand here arguing with you. I have other matters to attend to, so I’ll be taking my leave."

I prepared to step out of the Double Celestial Rule Domain, leaving behind just enough energy to keep Corey trapped for another five minutes after I was gone. With Corey’s patience, even five minutes inside that endless void would feel like an eternity to her.

"Little Baem, now!" Corey shouted. The white snake coiled around her wrist responded instantly, spraying a dense gray mist that swallowed our imdiate surroundings. Before I could react, I sensed Corey slipping free from the influence of my Double Celestial Rule Domain.

The next mont, her presence changed. Corey had fused with her pet snake.

Where she once stood, there was now a humanoid figure with flowing white hair and a long white snake tail extending from her tailbone. Her red slit eyes glinted coldly, and a pink forked tongue flicked between her lips. Lil’ Baem’s white scales ford a natural armor across her entire body, gleaming faintly under the domain’s crimson light.

The scale armor was adorned with a layer of ultra-thin golden gauze silk, so light and delicate it looked less like cloth and more like colored mist drifting around her body.

Corey looked like a war goddess descended onto the battlefield. The pressure radiating from her fused form was insane, dense enough that even I almost felt intimidated.

After all, Lil’ Baem was almost a semi-ruler class existence. With its realm and that mysterious gray mist, even my Double Celestial Rule Domain might not be able to hold her down if she truly decided to struggle with everything she had.

Then she had to open her mouth. "Wyatt, I wanted to go easy on you, but your cheating ass forced my hand. Bla yourself for this."

"I don’t know about you surpassing , but you’ve definitely gotten better at boosting," I snapped back, retreating a little to keep so distance between us. Lil’ Baem’s gray mist was dangerous to hostiles while acting like an elixir to allies.

Thanks to that mist, Corey and Lil’ Baem were able to resist the influence of my Double Celestial Rule Domain. Even so, breaking out of the domain wouldn’t be easy for them, especially with in it.

"Boosting? I’ll show you. I was stating cold, hard facts," Corey shot back in rage. The next instant, she vanished from my sight, leaving behind a fading trail of gray mist.

Aside from the gray mist and her massive form, speed was Lil’ Baem’s next greatest strength. In their fused humanoid state, they were even faster. Unfortunately for them, they were still inside my Double Celestial Rule Domain. Within this domain, their speed held no advantage over .

I clearly sensed her circle around twice before coming in hot, aiming to slap the back of my head. The mont she moved in, I used my authority within the domain to displace myself out of her path. She chased after , but I was always a fraction of a second ahead. Growing fed up with the chase, Corey finally snapped, "Wyatt, stop running and fight ."

"I’m not running, I’m dodging. And sohow, even in a fight between us, you expect to pull your weight. What next, you want to knock myself out for you?" I said, casually putting a little more distance between us before stopping. I had already had enough fun making a fool out of her for the day.

Hearing my words, Corey fud. Her red slit eyes narrowed as the gray mist around her thickened, swirling like an angry storm responding to her mood. "Shut up! When I catch you, I’m going to make you swallow those words."

"Sure," I replied with a faint smirk. "Just like when you said you’d defeat in a single move, rember?"

As I spoke, I deliberately dropped my guard and left myself completely open, standing there as if I had no intention of defending myself at all, silently baiting her to take the chance.

"I could have ended you in a single move if I wanted to. I’ll show you. Super Mortal Star!" Corey yelled.

A blazing ball of light began condensing above her palm, energy spiraling inward like a miniature sun being forced into existence. Within seconds it swelled to the size of a basketball, its surface flickering with unstable brilliance that painted the gray mist around her in sharp flashes of gold and white.

The formation speed was far faster than when her fifth and sixth incarnations had used the sa move. With Lil’ Baem’s realm supporting her and that strange gray mist erasing the influence of my double domain, the Super Mortal Star condensed with frightening efficiency. The power gathering inside that small sphere was anything but small.

Feeling the imnse energy radiating from the ball of light, I imdiately activated my soul pupils to analyze it. What I saw made my brows twitch. Corey wasn’t just gathering energy, she was forcing hydrogen atoms in the surrounding atmosphere to fuse into helium, crudely mimicking the process that powered the sun itself. She was literally creating a miniature star in her palm.

I had seen her use a similar ability on and my curse plaque before, but I didn’t think she would be able to use it like this.

I would have loved to know where she learned enough knowledge to use her ability like this, but not know that if that thing goes off in here, she will only be killing herself. But this was hardly the ti to ask questions. The power building in that tiny sphere was getting dangerous. I could no longer afford to be cavalier about it. It was ti to put an end to this.
