"Corey is getting a soul trait too? I want one as well," Aba said, unable to hide her eagerness. She knew Aurelia had already gained a physique and a trait with their mutual friend’s help.
Unlike the others, she didn’t have a powerful origin card or a strong bloodline. She used to believe she was talented in martial arts, spending her days in the VR universe training, then practicing what she learned in the real world. But after seeing the level Laura had reached doing the sa, she was no longer sure of her own talent. Still, she kept to her routine. Not because she believed she was gifted, but because she genuinely enjoyed it.
"Get in line," Aurelia remarked after hearing Aba, well aware that countless people across their boss’s many organizations were working themselves to the bone to earn enough rit for the very sa opportunity for themselves or their progeny.
Agatha stepped out of the teleportation hub and neared her young lady, duty bound to protect ignoring their disagreents. Aba glanced at her and said, "You know I’ll stand by his side, even if he doesn’t want to, right?"
Agatha took her place quietly behind her, but in her mind, she was already preparing to drag Aba out of the city the mont they were beyond Sky Blossom City’s protection. After all, that was the only thing stopping her right now.
"Want to see our new base?" Aurelia asked her new friend. Eager to show off her security agency’s new base to her friend.
On paper, Aba was her employee, but that was only a cover. She had never actually joined the Bright Lions gang. Before heading to the Southern Capital, she had tried to, but Agatha happened, forcing her to withdraw. Now, after experiencing the VR universe, she had lost interest in all of this altogether.

Aurelia took her hand and led her away, but when she noticed Agatha following, she said, "Employees only. Also, weren’t you leaving with Cindy?"
"Little girl, what did you say your na was?" Agatha asked, since she only knew her by her in-ga na.
"Isn’t it proper manners to introduce oneself before asking others their na?" Aurelia shot back
"I’m Agatha," she replied, clenching her jaw. Only to notice a mischievous glint flashed in Aurelia’s eyes before she shouted, "Fuck you, Agatha."
Agatha was taken aback. At the sa ti, Aba quickly activated her teleportation card, trying to get them out before retaliation ca. But Agatha’s intent sense reacted faster, canceling the teleport and leaving the would-be prankster trio standing like sitting ducks before their six-foot-seven wall of muscle.
With a stiff smile, Aurelia asked, "Is it too late to say sorry?"
"I don’t see why you feel the need to apologize," Agatha said. "By the way, on a completely unrelated note, you look sturdy. You should be able to take a few punches from a semi-card demigod, right? I’m in need of a sparring partner, I will settle for you today."
Her voice was low and ominous as her right arm settled over Aurelia’s shoulder, while her left ca to rest on Aba’s. As for Laura, their unwitting partner in cri, she stood there watching them face the consequences of their actions.
"Big Sis Agatha, I’m feeling a little under the weather today. How about another ti?" Aurelia pleaded, trying to shake off the arm resting on her shoulder. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t free herself.
"I wasn’t asking," Agatha said with a firm voice as her intent sense pressed down on them.
Aurelia almost thought she was going to die then and there, until a familiar voice cut through the tension. "Congratulations, Agatha."
"Boss!"
"Wyatt!"
The group called out in unison as I arrived with Corey. Greeting them with a gentle smile, I looked at Agatha and asked, "Why aren’t you in seclusion, trying to break through to the Card Demigod Realm?"
Seeing her using intent sense with such ease, it was clear her divinity was nearly complete. At such a critical mont, she should be focused on breaking through, not running around.
"What?" Aba asked, stunned. She had no idea Agatha was so close to the Card Demigod Realm. But now that she thought about it, the signs had been there all along. Agatha would never leave her side, yet for the past two days she had been absent, claiming to be in practice. Taking advantage of that, Aba had managed to run away from the palace grounds with Laura.
Now, Aba felt a pang of guilt for her actions, realizing how delicate Agatha’s situation was. She quickly apologized, "I’m sorry, Agatha. Why didn’t you tell earlier... or just now?"
Seeing the guilt on her young lady’s face, Agatha let out a long sigh. Things couldn’t have unfolded worse.
"First, I didn’t tell you two days ago when I entered seclusion because I wanted to surprise you," she said. "And earlier, I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want you to bla yourself or feel guilty."
"It’s too late for that. Now, please return to the palace and focus on your breakthrough," Aba said, her tone firm. Agatha shook her head. "Only if you’re coming with ."
"I will not," Aba said resolutely, then added, "I’ll just have to live with the guilt and regret, I guess."
The two glared at each other until Aba turned to , asking for help, "Wyatt, please talk so sense into her."
"First off, the blonde look surprisingly suits you well, but I prefer your original lavender-pink hair," I said, addressing the thought that had been bothering since I saw the blonde Aba. Then I looked at Agatha. "Stop being stubborn and complete your breakthrough. We can deal with everything else later."
Agatha stared at , dumbfounded. "Wyatt, you do know they’re planning to attack the city today, right?"
