Location: Myriad Realms, Card World, Southern Region, Blossom District, Three Mischief Encampnt, Limitless Celestial Blood Fate Rule Domain

Karl’s parents and elders had no idea how their ancestor, Madox Masters, managed to defeat and kill Varox the Undefeated—especially after he had abandoned his Viltronian heritage and the invincible physique that ca with it. Not long after, a massive space cataclysm struck, and those who survived found themselves scattered across this world, not just by space but by ti, as if by so cruel miracle.

Karl Masters’ family arrived in the Card World nearly a century ago, while Jaya’s family ca only a few decades ago. Though Karl Masters was the first Viltronian to settle here, he and his family were not the first to arrive. Long before them, others had trickled into this world through the so-called dungeons—both field and gate types, just like them. It was as if the Card Celestial had been salvaging fragnts of Viltron from its wreckage, piece by piece, delivering them into this world through those dungeons.

Upon arriving in the Card World, the Viltronians did what they had always done in their corner of the Myriad Realms—they began their crusade against the weak.

According to the card apprentices, Viltronians looked human and spoke like humans, but their bodies carried cores similar to those found in monsters or demons. Combined with their violent nature, their constant thirst for war, and their refusal to reason or bow to authority, they were quickly branded as monsters, labelled Demi-humans, as they ca from dungeons and weren’t suppressed by the world’s will like demons were.

And once that judgnt was passed, the decree followed just as swiftly: Purge any and all Vitronians on sight.

Throughout the Card World’s history, there were many secret families that erged from the dungeons and successfully integrated with the card apprentices, living peacefully across the Five Regions, sharing their wealth of knowledge and culture.

However, the Viltronians—known as demi-humans in the Card world—could not. Their way of life was no different from that of monsters, making them incompatible with civilized society. Tempted by their strength, society tried to accommodate them, but every attempt ended in disaster.

Attempts were made to integrate them through interbreeding, but the Viltronians refused. They would not mate outside their race—especially not with those they considered weaker. To them, it wasn’t about individual strength anymore, but the collective strength of the race. By this point, Viltronians no longer cared about dominance among themselves; their focus had shifted to superiority over other races. They would rather die than mate with a weaker race like the card apprentices.

In the end, the demi-humans—Viltronians—were deed unfit to live among the rest of us. Fearing their strength, resilience, and long lifespans, a decree was issued: purge them on sight.

In the Card World, the term demi-human carried the sa weight as Neanderthal did on Earth—less a classification, more of an insult. Yep, whoever ca up with this word for the Viltronians, hated them with a burning passion. Because of that naming fiasco, I couldn’t find anything about them.

The answer I sought had always been right there, just under a different na. I guess that’s why you go to school. If I had actually read the history books, I would’ve realized that demi-humans—the so-called human-like monsters—were the Viltronians I’d been searching for.

Anyway, by the ti Karl Masters’ family arrived in the Card World, the decree to purge Viltronians—demi-humans—on sight was already in place. And it wasn’t just the decree. There was deep resentnt and prejudice toward their kind.

The Five Regions were already struggling with an ongoing massive monster mayhem. Demi-humans, being seen as monsters in human skin, bore the sa fear, hatred, anger, and thirst for vengeance. Ironically, by the ti Viltronians willing to listen to reason appeared, the card apprentices were no longer willing to offer any. They didn’t have the patience.

Hunted by the card apprentices, Karl’s family made one priority clear: save the children.

Following the teachings of their ancestor, Madox Masters, they abandoned their Viltronian invincible bodies, becoming indistinguishable from ordinary humans. The adults then scattered, using themselves as bait to mislead their pursuers while hiding the children within human society.

But survival was brutal. Children had little chance on their own—especially in a foreign world where everything they knew was useless. Most didn’t make it.

Karl was the only one who survived. He did so because he resembled the deceased son of a couple who had lost their child to the monsters during a dungeon outbreak. They took him in and raised him as their own. That was how he got his first na—Karl. Only after leaving the Southern Region did he reclaim his true surna: Masters.

Interestingly, Karl had led the raid on the very B-rank dungeon through which Jaya’s family entered the Card World.

What was more shocking was that he killed them all—despite knowing they belonged to his ancestor’s faction. Jaya’s family hadn’t co alone. They arrived alongside other Viltronians who didn’t have the word peace in their vocabulary.

Karl did try to diate, but neither side was willing to listen. The Viltronians refused to stand down, and the card apprentices in his party were just as eager for blood. The card apprentices’ prejudice toward demi-humans—Viltronians—hadn’t lessened, even after more than a decade since the monster invasion was brought under control. How could it? To them, demi-humans were no different from the monsters that had slaughtered their families and friends. The only difference was that these monsters wore human skin and spoke in human tongues—just to deceive them.

In the end, it beca a massacre. Not even the innocent were spared. Yet sohow, baby Jaya survived. How, he had no idea. Even now, it remains a mystery.
