Kai Yuan didn’t even have ti to think much before Bai Suihe appeared before him again.

"I’ve been inside for an hour, how much ti has passed here?"

"... "

After conducting the experint, Bai Suihe found that as long as she was inside the courtyard, ti stopped; whenever she entered and exited, not a second was different.

In other words, when a person disappears and reappears, others might not even notice a thing.

But if she appeared outside the courtyard, in the farmland or the backyard, the flow of ti on both sides was hugely different. You could spend half a day inside, yet outside it would only be a brief mont, indicating that ti flowed much slower.

"It seems like it will be difficult to use the space to avoid disasters in the future," Bai Suihe was a bit disappointed. If a disaster were to occur, one could hide inside, but with such a large ti difference, one would need to be patient.

It’s a pity there are no clocks now, so there’s no way to give accurate data.

She thought that next ti she had the chance, she would find two hourglasses for experints or take the chance to ask the baby.

"This is already great," Kai Yuan felt satisfied, "We can treat it as a mobile warehouse, much safer and more convenient than finding soone to transport these goods."

Bai Suihe knew she was being greedy, "I can only think like this.

You go rest first, I’ll go inside to take a look."

After finishing their conversation, Bai Suihe still felt uncomfortable being alone with Kai Yuan, holding her quilt and returning directly to the space.

Kai Yuan, "..."

Shaking his head with a wry smile, he could only step out and instruct the servant girls to bring him another set of bedding. Without letting them enter, he took the quilt and shut the door with a clang.

Although they didn’t say anything, Kai Yuan could read all kinds of gossip from their eyes.

Inside the space, Bai Suihe spread the quilt in the room, only to rember she had taken the quilt away, so how would Kai Yuan manage?

On second thought, as the master of the third house, he wouldn’t treat himself poorly.

Knowing the flow of ti inside and out, Bai Suihe wasn’t in a hurry to sleep. She opened the courtyard gate, squatted by the rice field, wanting to study the growth speed of the rice, and was surprised to see Hehua Fish in the fields.

These were valuable things; Bai Suihe rembered that in later generations, Hehua Fish was priced sky-high. She had followed her superiors to the countryside a few tis and felt those local chickens and ducks couldn’t compare to the deliciousness of Hehua Fish.

Bai Suihe, thinking of the fully stocked kitchen, couldn’t help but get interested.

Although this wasn’t the countryside and there was no chance to eat Hehua Fish cooked with firewood, she was familiar with the preparation thod.

Thanks to their curiosity about everything during their countryside visits, she secretly learned a few tricks in the kitchen.

Maybe it was because of pregnancy, Bai Suihe just felt ridiculously craving for it and wanted to eat imdiately.

However, without a fishing net, she didn’t know how to catch the fish. Could her thoughts control them?

Seeing a few fish jumping before her, Bai Suihe felt life had never been so complete.

She turned and ran back to the kitchen, grabbed a vegetable basket, picked up a few Hehua Fish.

"Just as clever as ," Bai Suihe relaxed in her world, placing her hands on her hips with self-satisfaction.

"Rembering there are scallions and celery in the backyard, also dig a ginger bulb, make a ginger-braised Hehua Fish," Bai Suihe looked down at her silk dress, feeling a bit inconvenient.

Anyway, being in the space alone, Bai Suihe simply wore a white satin undergarnt, rolled up her sleeves, and got busy.

Using her mind to clean the fish, she began to heat oil in the pot. Following the steps in her mory, a dish of ginger-braised Hehua Fish was ready.

Taking a deep breath, she felt instantly satisfied.

Bringing it to the dining table, she realized what was missing—it was rice.

It was too late to cook now, but she decided to make so in the space when she had the chance later.

Without rice or beer to accompany the al, Bai Suihe’s interest waned a bit. Eventually, she reappeared in the room, just in ti to et Kai Yuan, who was about to undress for bed, eye to eye.

"Getting ready for bed?" Bai Suihe didn’t notice Kai Yuan’s heated gaze, grabbing his hand and returning to the space, "I made a dish for you to taste."

"What delicious dish have you made?" Kai Yuan slled the fragrance in the air as soon as he entered the space. Bai Suihe had made pastries for him before, but he didn’t know she was also skilled in cooking.

"I just found Hehua Fish outside," Bai Suihe eagerly introduced, "It’s fish raised in paddy fields; I wonder if anyone here does this type of farming."

Bai Suihe led him to the kitchen table, where a steaming dish of Hehua Fish sat alone. She said shyly, "I was so focused on cooking fish, I forgot to make rice, you’ll have to make do for now."

After she finished speaking, she took out bowls and chopsticks, sitting directly across from him.

Kai Yuan noticed she was only wearing an undergarnt. Initially awkward, he convinced himself it was normal since she was his wife.

"Then I’ll accompany my wife for so," Kai Yuan said, rubbing his belly. He had eaten quite a bit that night and was still quite full.

Bai Suihe couldn’t wait to pick up a fish in her bowl and take a bite—it was the familiar taste, even more delicious than when they had it in the countryside.

"It’s really good, but there are more bones, be careful," Bai Suihe said, looking at Kai Yuan. Given Kai Yuan’s status, such fish wouldn’t have easily appeared before him, "Don’t get a fishbone stuck."

Kai Yuan picked up one, finding it to be crucian carp, "I’ve eaten this crucian carp before."

Bai Suihe was curious, "Where did you eat them? Was it at the manor?"

"On the exile journey, we were given a black bun each day, which wasn’t enough to sustain a family’s physical strength. Hunting and fishing were necessary. Have you forgotten?"

Bai Suihe blinked, "You really do forget? Any at never made it to ."

She rembered reading in a book about the Gu Family’s actions and had a strong disdain, unable to help but put herself in that scenario.

"I’ve wronged you," Kai Yuan seed to recall; all his hard work only brought a few sips of soup to them.

Even then, his mother was particularly disdainful, saying he was incompetent and unable to look after the family well.

The initially pleasant atmosphere disappeared at this mont.

Bai Suihe lowered her head to eat, ignoring him.

She had initially wanted to bring him in to eat with her to increase her appetite, but it only ended up making her feel worse.

Kai Yuan, feeling guilty, only ate the first small crucian carp he picked up and didn’t reach for more.

Feeling that her culinary efforts weren’t appreciated, Bai Suihe felt a bit annoyed, ate a few bites, sent him out of the space, and upon returning, astonishingly finished the whole big bowl of fish alone.

Rubbing her belly, she sighed. She reckoned her mood swings had a lot to do with the pregnancy. She wasn’t easily swayed by others’ emotions before.
