Mo Lin’s expression was stern, with not a hint of a smile on his face.
"Do you have a grudge against the people from Ziwu Mansion?" Zhuge Mingyue asked Mo Lin with confusion.
"Rather than a grudge, it’s more of an enmity," Mo Lin replied slowly.
The Ghost Witch tead up with ghosts from the Ghost Realm to deal with the Ghost ssenger.
This is enmity.
Mo Lin was puzzled before, as every Ghost ssenger could be found by the ghosts from the Ghost Realm. Isn’t that strange?
Now the answer is clear.
It turns out it was these Ghost Witches causing trouble.
When Mo Lin referred to the Ghost Witch, he wasn’t talking about Yun Chuan’s Ghost Witch alone.
He was referring to the Ghost Witches in every city district.
Although it’s not possible that every Ghost Witch tead up with ghosts from the Ghost Realm,
the vast majority of Ghost Witches are related to the ghosts of the Ghost Realm.
Of course, this is just Mo Lin’s speculation and hasn’t been confird.
Zhuge Mingyue stared at Mo Lin’s clothes for a long ti, then asked a confusing question.
"How are you a Yin ssenger?"
She really couldn’t understand why Mo Lin beca a Yin ssenger.
How can a living person beco a Yin ssenger?
"Can you stop being so nosy?" Mo Lin was slightly annoyed by Zhuge Mingyue’s question and retorted.
"I’m just curious," Zhuge Mingyue said slowly.
As the two talked, they arrived at their destination.
It was Li Xue who guided Mo Lin along the way.
Ziwu Mansion was in the suburbs.
It was a house built out of wood.
Designed in the style of a traditional Chinese courtyard.
A bell hung at the entrance, tied with a red string.
Mo Lin slowly got out of the car.
"Jingle jingle jingle..."
As Mo Lin got out of the car, the bell rang wildly.
It triggered a chain reaction.
Bells were also ringing in the courtyard at this mont.
In the quiet night, the sound of bells filled the air.
The noise was irritating.
No movent at all...
As if there was no one in the house.
Mo Lin moved forward, ready to forcibly open the door.
The door slowly opened.
Mo Lin lowered his head to see a little girl opening the door.
This little girl wore a gray-white coat, her hair was loose, and she looked very cute.
Her cheeks were very youthful, probably not even ten years old.
Upon seeing Mo Lin, she quickly retreated and sped away.
Zhuge Mingyue closely followed behind Mo Lin.
Upon entering the courtyard, a chilling sensation was clearly felt.
All around were paper figures, looking eerily sinister.
Then sothing even more peculiar happened to Zhuge Mingyue.
The surrounding paper figures, as if being guided, floated towards Mo Lin.
Then blocked Mo Lin’s path.
There were at least thirty of these paper figures.
Both male and female.
Mo Lin did nothing, allowing these paper figures to block his way.
Monts passed...
And still more monts...
The paper figures showed no intention of moving aside.
"Clear the way," Mo Lin said coldly.
Li Xue swung the black knife in his hand, charging towards the paper figures.
Then, he cleared a path for Mo Lin.
Mo Lin entered the hall.
He saw an old woman, hunched over, her hair white and tied back, lighting three incense sticks, and placing them in the incense burner.
The mont she saw Mo Lin, she muttered to herself.
"So ti ago I heard that a Yin ssenger from the Underworld ca to the mortal world, but no matter how I calculated, I couldn’t find that Yin ssenger’s whereabouts."
"I didn’t expect that the Yin ssenger would actually be a living person... How strange..."
She could calculate dead beings, but not living ones.
The little girl who had opened the door for Mo Lin earlier was hiding behind the old woman.
At the door, Li Xue dealt with those paper figures and then followed Mo Lin into the house.
Zhuge Mingyue, however, waited in the courtyard.
She didn’t know what might happen, so not entering the house seed safer.
"Do I need to ask, or will you confess yourself?" Mo Lin coldly asked the old woman.
The old woman, seeing Li Xue, understood what was happening imdiately.
A Yin ssenger, accompanied by a Ghost ssenger, must have co to cause trouble for her.
"Whatever you want to know, just ask," the old woman said slowly as she sat in a chair, addressing Mo Lin.
"You and the ghosts from the Ghost Realm tead up to capture Li Xue?"
"Yes, it was I, the old woman, who did it," the old woman replied slowly.
Mo Lin had found his way here, so he must have known sothing.
So there was no need to deny anything.
"Which ghost from the Ghost Realm did you team up with? What is that ghost’s na?" Mo Lin wasn’t simply looking for this old woman.
His main goal was to inquire about matters in the Ghost Realm.
The old woman said nothing but looked towards a spot behind Mo Lin.
Behind Mo Lin, at so point, a crowd of Ghost Shadows had gathered.
Not only behind Mo Lin, but even the courtyard was filled with Ghost Shadows now.
Though they were low-level ghosts, their number was vast.
At least over a hundred ghosts.
Mo Lin glanced briefly; most of these Ghosts were from the Ghost Realm.
As for how he could tell, it was by their aura.
Ghosts from the Ghost Realm have a more malevolent aura.
"Bing Yu."
Mo Lin called out.
Soon, Bing Yu’s figure appeared behind Mo Lin.
She did not hide her aura at all, the aura of a Nightmare Level ghost.
From a distance, Zhuge Mingyue exclaid, "Nightmare Level..."
This was already the second Nightmare Level ghost she had seen.
Mo Lin’s strength exceeded her expectations.
"Master, what are your orders?" Bing Yu asked respectfully, addressing Mo Lin.
"Clear the area."
"Yes."
Bing Yu’s body expanded and she entered the throng of Ghost Shadows, and grabbing a ghost, she directly tore it apart.
Then she caught another ghost and instantly annihilated it.
She was engaging in a complete one-sided slaughter.
At this mont, two Ghost Shadows appeared at the front of the living room.
These two ghosts had disheveled hair, and their aura was in no way weaker than Bing Yu’s.
These two were Nightmare Level ghosts.
That mont the two ghosts made a move.
Mo Lin placed his blue longsword in his hand in front of him, without saying a word.
He slowly drew his sword and then glanced at the two ghosts.
No further movent followed.
The two Nightmare Level ghosts imdiately froze.
Just standing there.
Not that they wouldn’t move, but they didn’t dare to move.
Whoever dared to move would certainly die the next second.
The difference in strength was particularly apparent.
After all, Mo Lin was a Yin ssenger.
Not an ordinary Ghost ssenger.
This was a difference in strength.
To fight against Mo Lin, it would at least take those big ghosts of the Ghost Realm.
And they’d have to be quite formidable as well.
About a minute passed.
All the ghosts around Mo Lin were cleared away.
Not a single ghost left.
The old woman’s face was wrinkled, her expression emotionless, as if she hadn’t seen anything.
After a mont, she finally spoke.
"I don’t know how the Underworld defines the realm of that ghost, but that ghost has the sa strength as you."
The old woman said slowly, "In terms of the mortal world’s grading, it’s Disaster Level."
Above Nightmare Level is Deadly Level, and above Deadly Level is Disaster Level.
Corresponding to levels five, six, and seven.
This news was sowhat shocking for Mo Lin.
Or rather, unexpected.
He was a Yin ssenger, and the equivalent realm of ghosts is Disaster Level.
He didn’t expect ghosts of such a level from the Ghost Realm had also co to the mortal world.
It was a bit troubleso now.
"You originally belonged to Yedou’s branch. Why are you so deeply involved with the Ghost Realm?" Mo Lin asked the old woman.
The Ghost Witches were initially Yedou’s representatives in the mortal world.
Logically, they should be on the sa front as Yedou, rather than teaming up with those Ghosts of the Ghost Realm.
