Leon Bruchi isn’t an actor, nor is he in the entertainnt industry, but he’s indeed a good friend of his, which is why he was surprised to hear Leon Bruchi’s na from He Wenyun’s mouth.
"He’s pursuing , wanting to be his girlfriend. I’ve clearly rejected him several tis, but he still won’t stop pestering ," He Wenyun said. "So I want to ask you to help tell him not to bother anymore."
Daniel looked at He Wenyun in shock.
He Wenyun’s request truly caught him off guard.
"Do you know what Leon’s family does?"
Implying that Daniel thought He Wenyun was at a disadvantage for rejecting Leon.
He Wenyun said, "I know, but, Daniel, I don’t value these things."
Daniel said, "Many won would love to be favored by a mber of the Bruchi family."
"But I’m not among those won," He Wenyun said. "One of our Chinese actresses once said sothing I admire: we don’t need to marry into a wealthy family, we ourselves are the wealthy family."
Daniel was even more astonished.
But if you looked closely, you’d see that Daniel’s eyes lit up with an interest in He Wenyun.

"Are all Chinese actresses this wealthy?"
"Of course," He Wenyun said. "Our market is no smaller than yours."
Daniel chuckled and said, "But you don’t know the foundation of the Bruchi family."
"China has no shortage of wealthy and influential families either," He Wenyun smiled calmly, "And there are plenty of rich n like Leon pursuing ."
Daniel: "You are a very proud woman."
"If I weren’t proud, how would I have co to the United States to make movies?" He Wenyun said. "Daniel, even though you’re not as obvious as Gediyah, you actually look down on us foreigners a bit, don’t you?"
Daniel imdiately raised his hands, feigning innocence, and said, "I swear, I absolutely don’t, I absolutely support equality at birth."
He Wenyun laughed and said, "You can deny it, but I don’t mind it as much as you think, Daniel. I know you’re not as casual and nonchalant as you appear. I’ve always thought you’re one of the most underrated young male actors in the United States. Maybe the Arican film companies think you only suit playing handso guys in big comrcial productions to make female audiences scream or starring in romance movies to indulge everyone in fantasies of dating you. But I’ve seen many of your films. You actually have pursuits of your own. No matter how clichéd the role is, you infuse your understanding and creativity into it."
Daniel was stunned.
He never expected to hear such words from a Chinese woman.
