"I can imagine how much of a spendthrift rich kid you used to be," Zhou Yun said.
Wei Heyun snorted twice.
"By the way, Yu Sitian is here too." Zhou Yun suddenly rembered this fact and ntioned to Wei Heyun the person he once had a crazy crush on, Yu Sitian, "She’s filming this drama with ."
"Her?" Wei Heyun smirked, "She’s just here, what does it have to do with ? I don’t like her anymore."
"Really?" Zhou Yun asked curiously, "You really don’t like her any longer?"
Wei Heyun said, "I really don’t like her anymore."
Zhou Yun nodded, "Alright, then I won’t say anything."
"Don’t ntion to her that you ran into ," Wei Heyun advised.
"What would I say to her anyway? We don’t have a good relationship, you know that." Zhou Yun shrugged, "We only pretend to be friendly on set."
Wei Heyun said, "I’m surprised when you said you’re filming the sa drama with her."
"I understand your surprise," Zhou Yun nodded, "But unless soone truly crosses my bottom line and principles, I won’t refuse to act with them just because I don’t like them."
"A lot of actors actually put it in their contracts that they can’t work with certain people."
"So people want to do that, so don’t; it’s a personal choice," Zhou Yun said, "I don’t want to trouble the crew, nor do I want to bother the producers or directors over these things. I’ve told you before, every crew that manages to successfully bring together a complete cast is not easy. Coordinating more than a dozen people is really tough."
Wei Heyun: "You really do care about others. You’ve reached this position and I thought you wouldn’t care about these things anymore. After all, if you wanted, the whole crew would revolve around your wishes. Look at Wei Ru Xue’s new drama; she didn’t like the male supporting actor, and they’re about to start filming, but she said to change him so they did."
Zhou Yun frowned in disgust, saying, "That’s the thing I dislike the most, don’t you know?"
Wei Heyun nodded, saying, "I know that’s the thing you dislike the most, but people change."
"You think I might change for the worse, right?"
"I don’t think you’ll change for the worse, it’s just that I’ve seen how this environnt can blind many people."
"Then I must ask you friends to keep reminding , warning not to lose sight, not to be above oneself, not to take myself too seriously."
Zhou Yun said, "I’m willing to be soone who complains a lot, has high demands, and annoys many people, but I hope all this has a reason, for the sake of the whole drama, for the final result, rather than for my personal desires."
Wei Heyun: "You’re amazing."
"Stop flattering with those words, you’re planning to scout locations this afternoon, right? Any specific place? I’m free this afternoon too, I’ll join you, alright?"
Wei Heyun nodded, saying, "Sure."
Zhou Yun and Wei Heyun wandered through the streets and alleys, looking for the spots Wei Heyun wanted to find.
The two of them chatted continuously, about this and that.
"So you’re not planning on dating anyone recently?" Zhou Yun asked Wei Heyun curiously.
"I am, but what can I do if I haven’t t anyone?" Wei Heyun said, "I want to find soone I can connect with at first glance, but everyone who sees has ’cash cow’ flashing in their eyes. Everyone knows who I am, and even if they don’t initially, they’ll quickly find out from others. At first, they don’t ask for anything, but later they hint, wanting this, wanting that. When I get annoyed, I say I’m stingy; I find it quite pointless."
"You don’t need to be so discouraged. With your status and family background, it’s normal for such a group of people to be around you."
"It’s disappointing, though I can’t say I haven’t t so I was interested in, but in the end, they all let down. A feeling of disappointnt keeps arriving over and over in my life, and I eventually lost interest in it," Wei Heyun said, "I know there must be girls out there who don’t care about all these things around , but I don’t have the patience to wait for them to appear."
"Stop acting so old and wise, you’re still so young." Zhou Yun responded straightforwardly, "There are many, many more girls you’ll co to know in the future. I don’t believe you; you say you don’t have the mood, but when you really et one, you won’t be able to keep your heart calm."
