After the plane took off, it didn’t take long for her to feel drowsy, so she turned off the light and fell asleep.
She didn’t know how long she slept, but when she woke up, she found that a blanket had been placed over her at so point.
Turning her head, she found the person next to her, Zheng Xiaojue, also asleep.
She did not call out to Zheng Xiaojue but got up to go to the bathroom.
As she ca out, she suddenly heard a surprised "Xiao Yun."
Zhou Yun looked up in surprise at the person waiting at the bathroom door, only to realize it was Wen Xi.
Zhou Yun looked at Wen Xi in shock and said, "What a coincidence! I had no idea you were on this flight!"
Wen Xi nodded with a smile and said, "I didn’t expect it either, it’s such a coincidence."
As they were talking, another tall man walked over, stylishly dressed in a suit, with well-defined features, giving off a very business-like impression, the kind of man that instantly conjures up the image of "successful gentleman."
"Xi Xi, did you run into soone you know?"
Zhou Yun turned to look at this man, only to find a face she didn’t recognize.
Curiously, she looked at this man, then glanced at Wen Xi for clarification.
Wen Xi took this man’s arm, smiled brightly at Zhou Yun, and said, "Xiao Yun, let introduce you, this is my husband, Jiang Yicheng."
Zhou Yun imdiately showed a look of surprise.
"Hello, Brother-in-law," Zhou Yun called out.
Jiang Yicheng gave Zhou Yun a polite smile and said, "Hi, Xi Xi and I will call you Xiao Yun too, thank you, if it weren’t for you, Xi Xi said we two wouldn’t have gotten back together."
Zhou Yun showed an expression of delight.
She looked at Wen Xi.
Wen Xi appeared slightly embarrassed, nodded, and said, "Yes, it’s the one from before."
Zhou Yun was even more delighted.
Wen Xi had been married before and got divorced. Not many knew about it, but Zhou Yun did. Later, Wen Xi once chatted with Zhou Yun about it during a period when Wen Xi was sowhat irritable because Jiang Yicheng told her he was getting married. Zhou Yun had told Wen Xi that what Jiang Yicheng did seed rather unusual; a forr husband informing his ex-wife about his remarriage was fine, but going to her house late at night to talk about it was not normal. Zhou Yun felt Jiang Yicheng was clearly trying to provoke Wen Xi.
Zhou Yun also noticed that Wen Xi still had feelings for Jiang Yicheng, which is why she said those things to Wen Xi at the ti.
The seats of the three were actually quite close to each other.
After landing, Zhou Yun and Wen Xi communicated a bit and found out they had booked the sa hotel, so they promptly arranged to have lunch together.
Lunch was enjoyed at a restaurant close to the hotel.
Jiang Yicheng had work to attend, so after leaving his luggage at the hotel, he went out, leaving just the ladies for this lunch.
Zhou Yun took this opportunity to ask Wen Xi about the gossip regarding Jiang Yicheng.
"When did you two get back together? I haven’t heard a word about it."
"Just recently," Wen Xi said, "we agreed to try getting back together first, and if we could make it work for a year, then we’d remarry, so we decided not to announce it to everyone for now."
"I see," Zhou Yun teased Wen Xi with a smile, "Wen Xi, are you accompanying him for work this ti?"
"No, I have work myself," Wen Xi said, "we both needed to co here anyway, so we ca together."
Zhou Yun: "That’s quite a coincidence."
"Don’t tease ; you’re here for the Golden Ball Awards, right?" Wen Xi asked.
"Mainly because of this awards ceremony, and I have so other work commitnts too."
Deep Sea is premiering on Paimon’s streaming platform, and Paimon plans to hold a fan et the day after tomorrow for so promotion, both Zhou Yun and He Wenyun will attend.
This is one of the relatively important tasks.
Wen Xi said: "Good luck, I might attend the Golden Ball Awards too, though nothing is confird yet. If I do attend, I’ll be cheering for you onsite!"
Zhou Yun showed a slightly uneasy expression and said: "I honestly don’t have much hope of winning; to be nominated is already a big surprise."
Wen Xi shook her head and said: "Xiao Yun, don’t think like that, as long as you’re nominated, there’s a chance, anything is possible before the awards are announced, and Behind the Scenes is quite popular. In our modeling industry, several friends have asked if I know you, they watched Behind the Scenes and thought you were especially cool, they all want to et you."
Zhou Yun was sowhat astounded, "Really?"
"Absolutely." Wen Xi nodded, "Behind the Scenes public relations are quite strong, didn’t you see several billboards with Behind the Scenes ads from the airport when you arrived?"
Zhou Yun nodded.
"That’s just routine promotion, right?"
"Routine promotion wouldn’t have such a strong push for a foreign film," Wen Xi said, "plus, I heard your producer Shi Luoqi has been actively involved around here lately, if there were no hope, why would she be spending her ti here?"
Zhou Yun said: "That’s because Behind the Scenes is hoping to get an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film, and there’s quite a lot of hope for that."
