Song Chi, wounded, leaned against a stone, holding his left arm with his right hand, blood had soaked his sleeve.
As their eyes t at that instant, surprise, disbelief, heartache, anxious unease, complex emotions burst forth.
Her steps paused only montarily, then swiftly she ran up and half-kneeled beside him, hastily applying gauze to stop the bleeding.
As she wrapped the gauze, she noticed the red string still tied to his left wrist, her eyes brimd red, imdiately turning away, no longer looking at it.
Song Chi’s right hand grasped Zhou Yun’s hand.
Zhou Yun looked into his eyes, in their gaze, countless unspoken words exchanged.
